Chapter 100 LIA has Return Home

A week has passed after I had left LIA from Shouko-san's place which today, I'm going to her place to take LIA home as Shouko-san had been told me that she only could help LIA to recover her trauma which is allowing LIA to showcase several emotions later.

Shouko had instructed Irori-san to inform me about this news which I'm glad to hear the progress of LIA's recovery although Shouko could not fully heal LIA back. I'm going to Shouko-san's place with my partners, Lily and Eliza while being followed with Char and her partner, Sigmund.

Raishin and Yaya could not follow us as Raishin had been held by Kimberleg due to his low grade in Kimberley's mock test where writing test is not his forte. Therefore, he needs to take extra lesson by Kimberley as Yaya is going to his side to cheer him up which is mighty be annoy him later with her ethics.

As I'm on the way to the designated destination, I have conversation with Char which I say, "Char...How is it, the training with Sigmund? Is there any improvement in there?"

"Of course, I had succeeded to open Sigmund's potential which is I'm surprised with his sudden increase in strength where I'm glad that to be happened. Currently, I'm training myself where I'm trying to increase my mana's reserves which is allowing me to fight longer with Sigmund. How about you, Kanda?" Said Charlotte about her training before she asked about me.

"Other than relaxing and chilling around, I don't really train much as I'm confident with mine and my partners' strength. Anyway...except for the top 3 in the academy, I don't think that I will lose with anyone else." I replied about my activity towards Char.

"Is that due to your 4th rank in the academy, you could act like that, Kanda?" Asked Char as she surprised with my boast.

"Although it's true because of the rank that I had received recently, I'm also feel that I'm becoming even more stronger than before which is making me imagine that I could defeat Felix easily without Sigmund's help. Therefore, I'm talking like that, Char, although I'm waiting for the challenge from you and Raishin during the Walpurgis Night." Answered me to Char's question.

"Anyway...enough about me, Char. I need to talk something interesting to you." I said that after my answer.

"What is that?" Asked Char as she urges me to continue.

"It's about Raishin and that white-haired girl. For the past week, I can see that she had failed to attack Raishin sneakily. It's either she had been trapped by her own trap or she slipped at the last moment of her attack. I only could feel that she is very clumsy or you can say her as an unlucky person." Commented me about Frey's failed attack on Raishin to Char.

"I had heard the rumour about her attack on Raishin but I don't think that she could failed miserably there." Said Char as she knew Frey from the rumour.

"I don't know why she could failed miserably...but I'm respecting her perseverance to achieve her mission where Raishin just ignoring all of her failed attempts on him which had annoyed Yaya very much." I said that to Char.

"I can see that she has her reason for doing that as I don't see that she is a bad person where she will kick out any participants for the Walpurgis Night as she is too clumsy for that." Continued me about Frey.

"What might be her reasons for all of her doings, Kanda?" Asked Char to me.

"I don't know, Char, but we might know about that later." Said me vaguely.

"What do you mean?" Asked Char again.

"I can say that Raishin will be the spot for future troubles to be happened. Therefore, we only need to wait for awhile as the troubles will come its way to us. Anyway...Raishin will inform to us later if he wants some help from us...so for now, we just wait for that moment." Answered me to her words which Char just nods her head at me.

Two hours later, we have arrived to our destination where I'm ringing the house's intercom in front me before I could hear woman's sound inside that intercom.

"Yes~ Who is it? This is Shouko-sama's house." Said the voice from the intercom.

"Greeting, Irori-san...This is Ichijou...I have came here to take LIA back where Charlotte has came with me." Replied me through the intercom.

"Ah~ it is Ichijou-dono...Please wait for a second. I will open the gate now." Said Irori from the intercom.

After the chat ends, I can hear the house's gate has been opened which a figure has come out from the house.

Irori has come to meet us at the gate where she is wearing her usual light blue kimono which is suitable to her calm demeanour. She is closing up to us before she slightly bends her body and say, "Welcome, Ichijou-dono, Belew-dono....Shouko-sama has waiting for you inside the house."

"Thank you for having us here, Irori-san." Replied me back to her greeting while slightly bend my body at her which had been followed by Char.

"It's fine, Ichijou-dono...Let's follow me, I will take you to meet my master and LIA-dono." Said Irori at me before she had guided us inside the house.

After the slight distance from the front gate, we have arrived in front of the door of the room which belonged in this house before Irori had opened that door.

As Irori has opened the door, I can see a vague blur had dashed towards my direction which I had quickly open my arms to catch it. I could feel the hug from that figure which I look downwards and say, "Hey, LIA...How are you? Are you had missed me? I'm sorry for taking long time to visit you...but, I have came here to take you back."

I rub LIA's head gently as I'm saying all of that where she just snuggles at my body softly with soft whimpering in her voice. I can see that she still could not speak but I could feel her emotion from her action right now. So, I'm glad for that to be happened.

After that, LIA is going to greet her sisters, Eliza and Lily where they also happy to meet with her. Eliza has a drop of tear coming out from her eyes before she wiping it out quickly and returns to her usual stoic expression while Lily just smiling gently at LIA.

After that reunion, I'm leaving those three with Charlotte and Sigmund at the guest room while I'm talking with Shouko-san after Irori had guided me to her as she had called for my presence.

==Inside one of the rooms in Shouko's house==

"Thank you for helping LIA getting several of her emotions back, Shouko-san. I really appreciate with what you had done there." Said my thanks to Shouko-san after I had entered her room.

"It's fine, Ichijou-boy...I just feel disgusted with what had been done to her so it's my creator's sense that I had done this. Therefore, I don't need your thanks for that." Said Shouko-san while take a puff from her smoke pipe.

"Although it's like that, I need to give you my thanks as I don't have the ability to help LIA for now." I said that at her.

Shouko just waves her hand at me before she says, "Enough of your thanks, Ichijou-boy...what do you truly want to talk with me today?"

"Well, I want to learn more about automaton or you can say how to create one?" I said the purpose of my visit today at her.

"Why do you want to learn that?...What do you want to do with that knowledge?...And why do you think that I will teach you?" Asked Shouko at me for several questions.

"First, I just curious with what technologies had been used in the creation of automatons as I only could create an empty vessel and not the sentient automatons like those creators. Second, I want to make a new body for my companion as her body has almost reached her time limit. Third, why do I want to learn from others if in front of me, there is the best automaton's creator in the world." Explained my reasoning to Shouko-san's inquiry.

Shouko inhales and exhales for several times of her smoke before she says, "I can teach you, Ichijou-boy...but if you couldn't pass my minimum requirement for the lesson, I can't teach you."

"Sure, we can do that, Shouko-san...So, what is it, I need to do to learn from you." I agree to her condition before I'm asking about her test.

Shouko looks at me for a second before she instructed Irori to take something from her laboratory which Irori complied to her order before going out from the room. Fifteen minutes later, Irori has come back to the room with a trolley had been pushed by her into the room.

"Your test is to activate these three automatons where they have different activation sequence for them to be activated. You will pass the test if you could activate one of them." Shouko explained her test to me as Irori had got the things she has wanted in front of her.

Those three automatons have the size of a child with different appearance and materials. First automaton is a slender wooden automaton where beside it, there is a 50 centimetres wooden pole. Second automaton is a bulky metal-like automaton where beside it, there is a black spike ball with chain connected to the ball. For the last automaton, it has the appearance of a girl with long white hair and smooth fair skin. That automaton has twin metal fans besides it as it laying down on the trolley.

'Hey, AL...what should I do here? What I need to do for these automatons to be activated?' Asked me to my system for assistance.

[You only need to touch those three automatons and imagine a circuit has appeared inside them. You will find the pathway to connect those automatons' power sources so they can be activated later.]

'Good. Thank you for that, AL.' Said my thanks to my system which it said, "[It's my pleasure to help you.]"

After listened to AL's suggestion, I raise from my seat and went closer to those automatons before placing my palms to the slender automaton. I have imagine a circuit to be appeared in my mind which I had succeeded to do that a few second later before connecting the power sources towards all the limbs of that slender wooden automaton.

The first automaton raises from its laying state before taking its wooden pole and expertly showing its moves around that weapon before the automaton bends its body at me.

"Amazing! Ichijou-dono! You have succeeded to activate one of the automatons in the first try." Praised Irori as she had surprised looks on her face to my feat while Shouko-san just raises her eyebrows slightly on my performance before returns back to normal.

After that, I had done the same thing to the rest of the automatons where the bulky automaton just rotates around its spike ball as it fighting with the slender automaton while the automaton with girl appearance just sitting on his shoulder while covering its face with its metal fans.

This time, Irori and Shouko-san have surprised looks on their face when they saw the scene unfolded in front of them before Shouko-san says, "It's surprising to see that they could react like that...I don't how you had done that but what can I say is...you have the talent to learn under me, Ichijou-boy."

"Thank you for your praise, Shouko-san." I gave my thanks at her although the scene in front of her due to my skill, <Taming> which allow me to interact with these automatons and my system's guidance on how to activate them.

After I make the arrangement for my lesson with Irori, I'm going back to the dormitory with the rest of the people where we're also spent some time touring around Liverpool which LIA is full of smiles on her face during our outing with her. I send Char back to her dormitory aftr that before I had met with Raishin where he had met with another round of assassination attempts from Frey before she is going back after her attempt has failed.

Raishin had greeted me before I'm going inside my room where he had asked me about LIA's condition which I had told him the result of LIA's treatment and my tutelage under Shouko-san. He has surprised looks on his face after listened to my tutelage under his superior before he changes back to normal.

As I had returned to the room, I'm getting new information about Sanctuary from Claris where she had informed me that Sanctuary had met with an unknown being which they had identified as an alien. That alien has arrived at the Sanctuary due to the information about our capabilities to travel between worlds which they had informed to that alien where the ability to travel different worlds because of me. Claris had said that Sanctuary's Higher Command had left the decision to interact with that alien to me where they will taking that alien to my location after the portal gate had been completed later.

After giving several instructions to Claris, I'm going to sleep as two days later, the Walpurgis Night will be started and one of quests could be done by participating in that event.
