The guards stationed in the courtyard just outside the gates of Liu Manor couldn't believe their ears.

The young lady in front of them had suddenly called out for their young master as if he were a dog!

Was she crazy?!

Of course, the young woman in question was none other than Bai Lifei.

Besides her was Bai Ning.

The two of them had left their guards just further up the road and come alone.

After all Bai Lifei wished to resolve this herself.

"Dog Liu Yu, I Bai Lifei am not a woman you can insult as you please! Come out and face me!" Bai Lifei once again shouted. Infusing even more qi into her voice, it reverberated across the entire manor.

It was impossible not to notice.

The guards were stunned silly after hearing the young woman's name.

Suddenly a wave of energy rippled from inside the Liu Manor followed by a majestic voice.

"Junior Lifei pays respects to Patriarch Liu," Bai Lifei responded although angry she knew that the patriarch of the Liu family deserved respect for his strength alone.

His cultivation was almost on par with her uncle's!

Although she would pay respects to her elders and seniors, she wouldn't allow them to be dismissive of her!

"That would appear to be the best course of action...Yu'er!" the voice suddenly shouted.

Soon the gates opened, and a young man in blue silk robes appeared following behind two elders.

'Damn woman! How dare she insult me again?!' Liu Yu cursed Bai Lifei in his heart as he made his way over.

Bai Lifei seeing Liu Yu was unable to contain her anger anymore.

Her aura burst out as arcs of lightning began to flash around her.

Bai Lifei's entire body was quickly wreathed in a brilliant white lightning!

Cracks and pops could be heard as the lightning moved violently across her body.

The guards from earlier were shocked by the aura being released by the young lady in front of them.

Liu Yu who had been watching from behind the two elders shivered at the sight of Bai Lifei wreathed in lightning.

Bai Lifei seemed to notice the hesitation in his eyes.

This was the third time this woman had insulted him!

Bai Ning simply watched from behind, he wouldn't interfere unless necessary.

The two elders that accompanied Liu Yu also stood and watched silently as well. They were there to make sure nothing happened to him, nothing more.

Bai Lifei suddenly burst with even more lightning before flying towards Liu Yu so fast that her body seemed to vanish!

The sound of booming thunder echoed across the courtyard the moment she made her move!

This was one of the Bai Clans' signature movement skills!

Liu Yu was caught off guard for a moment before he suddenly felt the hair on the back of his neck stand.

Behind!

Although he was no Bai Lifei it didn't mean he was a weakling!

He quickly slammed his hand down before the blue qi surrounding him surged!

Without even looking behind he shouted as his aura exploded!

"Ten Thousand Revolutions!"

The blue qi suddenly transformed into crystal-clear water! It gave off an eerie blue light.

It rapidly began to spin around his body, shielding him in what was essentially a revolving dome of water!

The speed the water was spinning at could easily tear iron and steel apart!

The force was immense!

Bai Lifei who had appeared behind Li Yu within a moment of making her move was slightly shocked by how quick Li Yu reacted.

Not Enough!

"White lightning Seal!" She shouted before pressing forward.

All the lightning on her body quickly shifted to her palm before she made her strike!

Bam!

A gaping hole was blasted into the revolving shield!

But that was all!

It had taken the brunt of the impact!

"Ha! My turn!"

Liu Yu quickly formed a hand seal causing the water that had been blasted away to swiftly reform into hundreds of tiny spheres!

The small spheres of clear water gave of a deep blue light before suddenly launching towards Bai Lifei! They were easily travelling at speeds of over five hundred miles per hour!

"Hmph!" Bai Lifei scoffed before vanishing once again with the sound of thunder!

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The spheres of water hit the trees behind Bai Lifei before piercing straight through them without any resistance!

The deep blue light enshrouding the drops however appeared to dim slightly.

"To think she would master the Bai Clans' Rumbling Thunder Steps to this level, truly a genius. The Seven Skies Conference will be quite interesting this year," one of the elders couldn't help by praise.

The other simply nodded in agreement.

"So what if you're fast! You can't keep dodging forever!" Liu Yu shouted before quickly reforming his revolving water shield around himself.

But this time, outside of the sphere were hundreds of tiny little droplets of water surrounding it.

This was his favorite move!

He could attack his opponents without any fear of being injured himself!

The moments Bai Lifei appeared, Liu Yu he made his move!

"Go!"

The hundreds of water droplets launched forward once again, their speed no less than last time!

Bai Lifei had barely stopped before she saw more droplets flying towards her.

"Annoying!" she scoffed before taking a step forward.

Once again, she vanished!

However, this time she did not come to a stop!

All around the massive courtyard arcs of white lightning could be seen flashing!

Small cracks began to appear all over the paved ground as the sound of thunder rumbled!

Suddenly!

The air seemed to scorch as a finger thick beam of white light shot towards Liu Yu!

He could hardly react before another beam suddenly came from his left!

Then another from behind!

Three attacks in no more than two seconds!

Bai Lifei wanted to blast this little turtle out of his shell!

"Cloud Piercing Finger!"

All three attacks landed at nearly the same time!

Giant clouds of steams began to swell around the area as the water became super-heated!

The two elders watching twitched at the sight of this but still didn't make a move.

Liu Yu might be arrogant and lascivious, but he was not useless.

Sure enough, as the steam cleared all one could see was a solid sphere of crystal-clear ice surrounded by a deep blue light!

It was riddled with cracks and chunks had begun to fall off, but it had taken the attack head on!

"Hahaha! Bai Lifei is that all you got?!" Liu Yu shouted before the ice suddenly turned back into water.

This time however, the amount of water had increased and was enough to fill a large pond!

"Not bad," Bai Ning mumbled casually as he watched the fight.

This time rather than forming a dome like shield all the water suddenly formed a high-speed vortex around Liu Yu.

It surrounded him like a cylinder!

"Great Tidal Push!!!" Liu Yu shouted before spreading his arms out!

A ten-foot-tall wall of water suddenly surged in all directions with him at the epicenter!

It possessed such force that the stone tiles beneath were shattered and hurled away as it passed!

'See if you can dodge this!' Liu Yu sneered inwardly.

Just as their fight had begun to reach its climax a young lady holding a small wooden box had made her way over after hearing the commotion.

Her little mouth hung open as she watched on.

Bai Lifei who had come to a stop looked at the rapidly approaching wall of water before taking a deep breath.

'I can beat you even without releasing my cultivation!'

She closed both her eyes.

All the arcs of lightning on her body vanished without a trace before she suddenly jerked just her left eye open!

"Ah, this child truly knows no restraint," Bai Ning knew what was coming.

'He won't die...right?' He quietly thought to himself

Bai Lifei's purple colored eye had turned completely white, even her pupil vanished! Small arcs of white lighting began to play on the surface of her now pure white eye.

A small speck of white light, no bigger than a grain of sand, suddenly condensed right in front of where her pupil would have been!

The instant it formed, Bai Lifei's aura took a dive.

Fwsssh!!!

The small speck of light moved towards the massive wall of water without pause.

Its speed wasn't astounding, and it appeared quite insignificant but the moment she had launched it, one of the elders had already made his move!

This attack was lethal!

The moment the speck of light touched the wall of water ahead, a gaping hole was blown open!

Not even a single trace of steam could be seen!

The water had completely vanished!

The small speck of light showed no signs of slowing down!

It was flying right towards Liu Yu's chest!

'S-She?! She wants to kill me?!?!' Liu Yu panicked before a shadow suddenly appeared before him.

"Elder!" he shouted in joy.

The elder paid him no mind as he reached out with a palm wreathed in a thick billowing mist and tried to catch the speck.

Just before he made contact a voice suddenly boomed in his head

"Fool! Don't touch it!"

'Patriarch?'

The elder was surprised for just a moment before the thick mist surrounding his palm swiftly wrapped around his hand and formed a thin layer of deep blue ice!

Bang!

Rather than try and catch it, the elder decided to heed the Patriarchs warning and deflected it.

Fwwshhh!

A sizzling sound could be heard as a few puffs of steam rose into the air.

Drip. Drip. Drip

Shock could clearly be seen on the elder's face as he looked at his palm...half of the ice had melted!

'This is...', his eyes suddenly darted towards Bai Lifei, horror flashed in those old eyes as he recalled an old story about the Bai Clan.

Had he taken that attack on directly...even with his much higher cultivation she might have injured him.

Suddenly a scream came from behind him and woke him from his trance.

Bai Lifei who had just recovered also opened her strained eyes only to see a little girl standing in the direct path of the deflected attack!

'Huh?', her mind paused for a moment before reacting.

"No!" she cried in a panic.

She didn't want to harm an innocent child!

However, she couldn't control this attack once launched!

"Uncle!!!"

Bai Ning seemed to have read his niece's mind as he had already made his move, but almost immediately stopped!

His eyes locked onto the space just in front of the little girl!

"Who?!?!?"

The little girl in question had lost all the color in her face.

This was something that even Liu Yu could only cower in front of, let alone her!

There was no way she could dodge.

She was going to die!

She saw what that little speck of light had done to that water!

She would vanish too!

'No...'

'I don't want to die...'

Just then!

The space right in front of her began to twist and warp, the speck of light directly struck the warping space before slowly sinking within. It seemed to have vanished from this world without leaving any trace.

Slowly the warped space began to stabilize, and a figure became visible.
