Romi's fear

The bell has started to ring, Mesya walks with Romi.

Mesya is very happy, Romi finally returned to school today.

Even though at school Romi looks very gloomy, and doesn't talk much.

"Romi," said Mesya.

"Since you came to school, your face looks gloomy, is there another problem?" asked the Mesya.

Mesya seemed to be frowning because she heard Arthur's words, she didn't understand the meaning of her brother's words.

"Ah, I dunno, when I'm talking, I like to babble haha!" Arthur patted Mesya's back lightly. "Then I'll go first!" said Arthur while stroking Mesya's hair for a moment.

"If something's wrong, just tell me," Arthur whispered.

After Arthur left Romi dared to raise his head again.

"Why do you look so pale, Rom?" asked the Mesya.

"Ah, no, Mesya, I'm just a little unwell," said Romi.

"Are you still sick?" Mesya asked while holding Romi's forehead.

"But you don't seem hot?"

"Oh?"

"Yes, your temperature is normal, Rom,"

"Ah, maybe it's because I don't drink enough water, that's why I'm dizzy," said Romi.

"Then let me buy you some water, okay?"

"Ah, don't worry Mesya, I have to go home. Besides, Mr Sarno is already waiting there," said Romi, pointing to his car.

"Ah, okay, then be careful, Rom," said Mesya.

"Yes, Mesya, you must be careful too," said Romi.

Mesya looks very confused by Romi's strange attitude, it is clear that there is something she is hiding from her who knows what it is.

But Mesya doesn't want to force herself to keep asking Romi, she is afraid that Romi will feel uncomfortable with her and will leave her like Zahra.

Romi looks at Mesya's face through his car window he doesn't want to hide this, but whatever he can do, he can't do anything, because it will endanger himself and his mother.

For a moment Romi imagined what happened yesterday, where he met David.

"Why, David, asked me to meet here?" asked Romi.

"Don't you want to ask me something?" David asked back.

Then Romi nodded his head.

"Yeah... right, I really want to ask you something, but honestly I don't dare to meet you face to face like this," concluded Romi.

"Sit down," David ordered.

Then Romi sat down.

They met at a cafe not far from where Romi lived.

David deliberately asked to meet him here, because he knew Romi would not dare to meet him in a place that was too far from his house.

"Why, yesterday, did you help me?" Romi asked with a trembling body.

"You're really scared of me, aren't you?" David asked.

"Y-y-yes...." Romi answered honestly.

"You don't have to be afraid of me, as long as you don't do anything wrong, you'll be safe," said David.

David's voice sounded very relaxed and low, but somehow David's voice sounded scary to Romi.

"What do you mean?"

"Hufftt... don't ever make Mesya sad, don't ever do anything to her, let alone eat her lunch again!"

David's message.

"But what is the reason?"

"Do what I tell you if you and your mother still want to live. We let you live because we remember Mesya who loves you very much like a brother," David explained.

"But, why do you want to kill me, just because I made a small mistake? What is the reason?" asked Romi again who was still shaking.

"Just do as I say! If you and your mother want to stay alive! Don't find out about us, because our family is not what you think!" said David again, this time in a very firm voice.

Romi's heart of course kept asking, it's just that he didn't dare to ask anymore. She was afraid that David would be angry with her and things she didn't want would happen.

"Now I will go, take care of Mesya, joke as usual, and please keep all this a secret from her!" David insisted before finally leaving.

This is the reason Romi keeps everything from Mesya, all on David's orders.

David does look very scary, but even so, Romi knows that David is the only good person from Mesya's adopted family.

Romi feels grateful, Mrs Arumi and Mr Charles have refused him to be adopted, maybe if he is adopted, then his fate will be more or less like Mesya.
