07 – Sixth Floor

I spent the next day just focusing on increasing my basic abilities as fast as I could. Especially after that small talk with Rose. I don't need to think too deeply about the other feelings about me. People had different preferences after all.

Even though my strength and endurance are already in G, I'm still grinding from the first floor to the fourth floor, and with +0.3 bonus, the number of bonus points I got became like this between killing 4 monsters for 1 point and 3 monsters for 1 point, with many of them at 3 monsters.

Even though I kill monsters fast and the number of monsters I kill increases. My point starts to decrease by a lot at the end of the day. Especially when the numbers of all the attributes I have when added up have reached 800 in total. I need to kill 2 monsters to get +1. Which means I get half the experience, but the bonus is still working for every kill.

Anyway, this means the system is telling me that I'm ready to go down to the fifth floor. Which means I need to prepare myself. But thankfully, I still get the same amount of points for the sexual act. That doesn't change at all.

And after another night with a similar number of handholding and sexual activities, my attributes have finally exceeded G.

Knowing that I only get half-experience from slaying monsters on the earliest four floors, I don't really care about them until I reach the fifth floor. Different from the previous wall, which is light blue colored.

This wall floor changed to a light green color and a different kind of structure too. The monsters were also different. One of them was a frog monster that had one large eye and attacked me by shooting out its long tongue.

I think it's my first time meeting a monster that has a ranged attack. But I can still handle it very well. Especially when I recognize how the movement of their mouth is kind of different before they spat their tongue to attack.

However, I skillfully evaded the attack just in the nick of time. Dodge using only the bare minimum of necessary movements. It's just a quick and short step. I get used to the sound that rushes through the air when the attack very nearly hits me.

After I see a lot of things from those black boxes… I can feel it—the ultimate in perfection. To be able to perform in one ideal, fluid motion. Dodged with such a bare minimum and launched the counter with a fast and powerful slash right in the head of the monster.

Of course, there is no such thing as perfection since I always train and try to do such a thing at every attack. I always get attacked by ambushes and surprise attacks by dungeon lizards.

Since I'm always trying to evade with the bare minimum, that makes me get hit when ambushed by those monsters.

It feels like my movement is still not quite fast enough to get used to those. Even so, I can't stop yearning for those fluid movements.

The number of monsters on the 5th floor is completely different from the previous floors. With the birth of monsters being faster and causing the number of monsters to be greater. I can remember how many monsters swarmed around the main character, Bell. Especially the monster called Killer Ants.

However, with a bonus of +0.4, it makes me get a 2 point bonus every time I kill 5 monsters on floor 5. I was quite eager to slaughter the monsters on this floor. By killing 30 monsters, I've earned a total of 42 points, which are immediately accumulated on my attributes.

I took some rest before going down to the 6th floor, which has a famous dark humanoid that had long arms with claws that were sharp like knives known as 'newbie killer'. It is said to be the strongest monster on the 6th floor.

After meeting several frog monsters and slashing them with ease. Until I met that famous monster called Wall Shadow. With a height of around 160 cm and a body like a human, wall shadow movement is quite fast and rather fluid itself.

Their arms are long, so their range is quite long. It's such a difficult monster, but a rather welcome one since those movements and their strikes are a good way to learn dodging and evading.

Not just their strike fast and strong, but quite literally focus on my head. It's as if they knew the weakness of adventurers.

Well, I mean, if our head gets attacked, it may cause concussions that delay our reaction. While the adventurer knew the monster's weakness, their chest is where a magic stone is usually located.

To be honest, taking the monster to the 6th floor can take much longer than the previous floor. And fighting the wall shadow itself is the longest one. Even though, I dodged at the last second, their attack just missed my ear by a bit. The other one came immediately with their attack.

Dodge to the side and slash their head, but it's rather low that my attack killed Wall Shadow in one attack. Their movement is quite fast and agile.

Sometimes my attack was just shallow and failed to cut their head. Or just cut their arms. There are moments that I dodge and just slash their feet. The fluid movement I'm yearning for is still far away.

My attribute point has decreased, but I think it will be much more beneficial to get used to or experience fighting with a high level monster than grinding more in the lowest floor.

This monster usually came in pairs most of the time. Which is a good experience fighting high level monsters in a group.

In the end of the day, I only killed 72 monsters in total. It may be the lowest number of monsters I killed after I got my cheating skill. But I feel content since I have experienced more high-level monsters to adapt before fighting stronger monsters. And thanks to bonus points, I still get 100 points to distribute among my attributes.

Also, for the night experience… after doing it for like three days in a row. I feel like doing those things as a job rather than for pleasure. Thankfully, I still get points. But I think I started to be afraid that if I lost my interest, I wouldn't get the point.
