The chirping of birds outside Aranea's window woke her from her deep slumber. It was a bright dawn, sunrise peaking slowly on the horizon. Stretching her body, Aranea opened the windows, welcoming the faint smell of morning dew inside her chambers.
Still on her pajamas, the red-haired girl who barely combed her head went towards the kitchen.
"Good morning."
Having a cup of coffee was Darenn. He looked like he had already taken a bath, and was ready for training given he was equipped with a leather gear and gloves that helped his mana concentrate around his fist.
Aranea yawned, nothing these details. "Good morning, Darenn…" she said, grabbing the pitcher of water resting on the countertop. "Are you training early?"
"Yes," Darenn answered. "you're particularly early today."
The Earth Familiar sipped his coffee. It was strong, with no sugar nor milk—just like how he liked it.
"Are the others still asleep?" Aranea asked.
