Chapter 24 Curing the emporor

"Ahhh my daughter! What a good surprise it is to see you here. Oho, you even brought a... friend? May i ask who you are?"

The emporor was... well he looked like a hiruzen who just discovered that danzo misbehaved. In other words, he looked tired, wondering what the hell went wrong and how his life became so... pathetic from a majestic and mighty existant to this sick and pathetic existant which is the definition of a parasyte who sucks the life of his close ones and makes it more miserable. Yes, like hiruzen.

Meanwhile in another verse, an old man was cursing his paperwork which was making his hair whiter than anyone had ever seen and was always filled with the thought 'I'm too old for this shit. sigh' suddenly sneezed and threw all the newly arrived paper work in front of him on the floor thus giving him the additional work to reorganize this. 'Damn you danzo and you too minato! One makes me end up in this siruation and the other just causes trouble...' Well he did deserve this as the scheemer he was.

Meanwhile in the same verse and same village, a one eyed bandaged creature sneezed two times on the face of the figure kneeling in fron of him. This would had been funny if not for the fact that the figure never displayed any emotions and simply stayed still as if nothing happened and nothing nasty got on his face.

Returning to our hero, he kept looking at the emporor for a while while the latter sid the same but he sometimes glanced at his daughter. Yun Che knew that this might happen personally. If a father did not care about the change of his daughter and only cared about his kingdom while showing fake fondness and closeness to his daughter... then he might as well change his name to Danzo. Again the figure sneezed but this time on important documents which annoyed him.

'Is it chilly today or is there a bastard insulting me?'

The emporor knew his daughter changed. The way she looked at him was a dead give away. Before she looked at him with tenderness and kindness but now although it was still there, the warmth in her gaze decreased a lot. He liked his daughter the most amongst his children as she was the most... normal. Even if he was the emporor of a kingdom, he still was a kind old man and he liked his children very much but most of them were only interested in their benefits.

If he could describe them all other than his daughter, he would call them 'Greedy bastards'. The proof was these two fools trying to use their sister as a tool of connection without her consent. They also already viewed him as dead which annoyed the hell out of him. His daughter was the only one who he could definitely call a human as her kindness and innocence always warmed him. Her presence alone always made his dark days better.

Meanwhile a certain hokage which was previousky mentioned felt as if life was unfair.

"My name is Yun Che and i am here to cure you your highness."

He didnt state his relationship as him holding her hand was more than enough of a message which the emporor got as even after he asked of their relationship, they didnt stop holding hands but put it back for now as he thought he heard something stupid right now.

"Are you perhaps joking? Even the medi...!!!"

He instantly became silent and the same was for the rest of the people here as they gazed at his sharingan. Only Cang Yue was the same as before. He sopke with authority.

"Order your guards to go and arrest that medical scammer and to look for a flower which... Do it now."

He immidiately did as said and gave the description of the flower to his guards who left. Yun Che was too tired to listen to this naive emporor. He could understand how Cang Yue was so naive before.

The emporor was betrayed by that scammer himself who introduced the parasite in his body. He didnt even suspect him. That scammer put the insect after HE 'insisted' for some sort of 'medical checkup' and cut a part near his heart. Later he started showing symptoms of being sick and the only guy who could had introduced something into him was that scammer and yet he still believed him.

While he was slowly dieing he still believed the scammer when he said he found nothing wrong with him. He was naive for sure. Again he was like a copy of that hokage. He has the cruelty of an emporor or else he wouldnt even be emporor but he slowly got soft and even believed a leech in his kingdom. A poor soul in another verse again sneezed hard after having just reorganised his paperwork and the anbus hidden in the room chuckled at his misfortune.

'Damnit! I really am too old for this shit. Hopefully i can forge the kid to be the perfect hokage for the village if nothing goes wrong.'

"What does emporor need of me?"

A voice sounded in the room after about 15 minutes. The emporor paid him no heed and asked his guards...

"did you get the flower?"

"It is here your excellence."

Saying so they presented a flower that made the scammer go pale as it was the same flower he had in his house basement. He still had his stoic and indifferent face although it was pale and he was scared inside.

Yun Che's illusion immidiately wore off. Although the emporor was confused about what was happening he still did not get the time to say anything as Yun Che beat him to it.

"Hmmm medical saint i forgot your name, do you agree to have done a cut on the emporor's chest before?"

He paled and knew he was Fucked as he could not deny before the emporor so he could only hope and bit his lip.

"Yes i did boy. Why do you ask?"

Yun Che only mysteriously smiled and asked him again.

"Do you also admit not finding anything strange with the emporor?"

"What do you mean boy? Why are you questioning me? What is going on here?"

"Dont try to divert the question and answer it. Why did you do that? Do you have something to hide?"

Emporor was about to defend him but after listening to Yun Che, he realized he was right! Why did he not answer? Although the emporor had a favorable opinion of the medical saint, his experience as an emporor was still there whether he was weak or not. So he only looked at the medical saint who smiled bitterly forcing him to do so too.

If he was not able to connect the dots, then he must have been the blindest man to exist. Still he stayed silent and decided to believe that the one he trusted was not harming him.

"... sigh Yes i can say proudly that there was nothing wrong with his condition."

He could only pray that the emporot would still believe him and bail him out of this situation but seeing his silence gave him more despair.

"So that means that if i open up the wound you caused near his heart, nothing will happen and we wont see anything unusual. After all, you were the only one to cause this wound and you yourself said that nothing was wrong right?"

Everyone suddenly understood his intention and the silence of the medical saint was proof enough.

"If you would emperor, i will open the wound near your heart. Do not move no matter what or else who knows what might happen."

He consentrated his profound energy on his finger and then cut the wound. The emporor did not do anything and let him do what he said. They were all looking curiously about what he would do next when he suddenly put his fingers in the wound. Before they could react he took out some disgusting insect from the wound which screeched and gave them the chills.

They watched in disgust as it went back in his body and they saw its movement in his skin.

He first explained everything to them about the insect and then he told them that he knew how to get rid of this. They were all scarred after learning of such a terrifying insect but then showed relief when he said he could get rid of it and he did it.

"Thank you young one."

That was all the emporor said.

He then used the flames of the phoenix and his knowledge from the miracle of life to regive some vitality to the emporor. That night, the empire was in an uproar as they came to know of the crime of the medical saint.
