Prologue

Pain exists...and this is the reason why he hates it.

With his eyes stuttering as he was only able to receive a horizontal light from his room, the pain was hammering the rear and the front of his head like sledgehammers unleashing their might upon buildings and buildings. The pressure was existing on his palish head as he begins to squirm his body whilst one of his palms was placed upon the hardened floor, that was reflecting the fluorescent light above the ceiling of his greyish room as it coated itself in sheets of chilling air, before using his muscle to push himself to allow himself to sit upright with his rear placing on the chilling floor below.

"Urgh...-" A grunt escaped from his cracked lips as he set his other sturdy palm on his forehead before letting his head rest on his palm "-W-what?" Amminus spoke before revealing his dull, whisky eyes as his eyes slowly opened under the pain.

"What happens?" The truck of thoughts begins to pass through Amminus's mind as he kept hearing a ringing tune and his vision is nothing but a blur despite him being able to retract his eyelids. Amminus set his rear upon the chilly floor as he begins to use his neck's muscles to lift his head from its resting place, which was his hand, in order to see his surrounding. At this minute, his vision becomes clear as an unmoving lake - the room was ordinary: a rectangular bed with charcoal sheets covering it is put into the left corner of the rectangular dorm whilst other assets were put neatly to allow him to walk with no anxiousness to bump into something and causes pain to him.

-He also saw two other people, crouching next to him.

"AH!" A yelp pushes through his squarish jaw with ease whilst his eyelids retracted back to his sockets, making his eyes wide as the moon above in the starless sky before two hands, under the shade of coffee, stretch out their fingers to reveal their palms as it floats in front of him before a deep and gravelly voice reaches his shell-like ears.

"Woah, Woah-" the deep, yet filled with the essence of calmness, voice belongs to a man with blonde, dreadlock hair that reaches to his broad shoulder - hidden beneath the crimson t-shirt - whilst the top portion of his head is hidden under a blue beanie hat "-easy buster, ya gonna hurt yourself if you kept wiggling like that" He steadily put one palm on Amminus's shoulder as his sunken, oceanic eyes soften with both edges stretches upward to form a smile - there's only one with that voice and that hairstyle.

"Gabe?-" reflected upon Amminus's eyes was Gabe, his friend, a teenager his age with a face that is too mature for his age...and personality.

"Time to get you to the infirmary, mate" Another voice reaches his ears as it cut him off which causes him to rotate his head towards the source to find in his line of vision was Joseph, also his friend, who is comparable to a stick and skeleton for his muscle is halfway to nonexistent, hiding under a layer of fabric which his navy-blue suit, with his crown doesn't contain any strand of hair with the exception of his jaws which sported an extended goatee.

"Joseph? what are you guys-" Amminus asked with exhaustion and pain in his voice before the two men allowed both his arm to rest on the two men's shoulders as they hoisted him up as they helped him stand onto his two feet before a concerned voice was released from Joseph throat and jaws.

"Let's go, mate"

-What they didn't realise was that Amminus's camera has gone missing.
