First Day?

Slowly as light fills his vision again, Ryan starts to hold his head. Up until now he has been feeling pretty good but a massive pain is now hitting his whole body.

Letting his eyes adjust he hears a voice. The voice is of a little girl yelling happily.

"Mommy, Mommy, the hurt man woke up! He woke up!"

Trying his best to sit up while enduring the pain he looks at his legs and chest.

'Bandages?'

Looking at the bandages all over his body he decides to take a look at his status to get some clues about why he was feeling so much pain and was covered in bandages.

Looking at the absence of health he dosnt realize that a girl dragging her mom by the hand had entered the room.

"Mommy see! The man woke up!"

The energetic kid snaped him out of his daze and he looks in their direction but with his status still in his field of view its had to make out their figures.

Doing everything that he could think of he finaly closed the status by blinking his eyes and willing for it to disappear.

What stood in front of him was a young lady in her mid 30s and a young kid that couldnt be any older than 6. The mother had long black hair and a pair of emerald colors eye's. She was 5"9' with some small curves. The little girl also had back hair but her eyes looked more hazel in color. Her hair was in pigtails and was looking at him in interest. Their clothes consisted of simple cloth and some animal furs.

At least he thinks that look is of interest. the mother on the other hand was clearly wairy of him as she was holding her daughters hand to keep her from running over to him.

"Hello, by any chance could you tell me why I'm all bandaged up."

He was the first to speak in the deadlock that was being created by the two's stares. She visibly tensed up after hearing him and pulled her daughter into her arms. but still answered.

"I put the bandages on you."

She didnt say much but the shakiness in her voice was there but only slightly.

'Is she scaired of me.'

Thinking this he decided it was probably a good idea to thank this lady and then leave.

"Thank you for bandageing me even though I don't know how I got in this state to begin with."

looking back at his body for a second

"I'm sorry to of troubled you so much. I will take my leave."

Trying to get up and leave is a strugle and when he was finally on his feet, Silver only made it to the dore that leads outside before falling over. The pain was just too much to handle.

The woman watched all of this and when he finally fell over she rushed over asking if he was alright and even tried helping him stand back up. With difficulty she had helped Silver back to the couch he was laying on before.

"Im sorry to of troubled you in helping me again."

The mother was still wary of him but after seeing just how weak he was in his condition she seemed to of lost a little of her fear as she was telling him to be still while checking his bandages to make sure his previous wounds didnt open up again.

She spoke after a while of looking at his body and at this point she was only half way done from what he could tell as sbe was being very meticulous.

"You should stay here and rest. If you go out in this condition you will surely die."

"But your scared of me and I can't stay here if you are that way. It would be selfish of me." Silver retorted.

She stoped checking his body and grabed his face with one of her small hands. Makeing him look her in the eyes as she spoke.

"Do I look afraid of you."

Although she was trying to act tough it was taking everything she had just to say that with a pokerface as she didnt want him to see her trembling eyes.

However it wasnt her eyes that were giving Silver a sense of fear from her but something elts. Although her eyes looked to have resolution he could still feel deep within those emerald eyes a sense of fear of wanting to do nothing but grab her baby girl and run.

"No you dont look it, but when I look into your eyes I can see it or rather feel it."

Not holding back in his answer she seems a little startled. 'He can sense my fear.' This thought ran through her mind but she steeled herself only moments later.

"So what if I am afraid. You are hurt and I cant let you go out and get yourself killed"

She was resolute and decided this when she found him in the woods wile out hunting.

He could only bitterly smile as it wasnt fear he was feeling deep within her anymore but conviction. One that he would never be able to shake.

Seeing his smile she looked him in the eyes as a declaration of her decision.

"Why are you smileing like that?" She asked

"Because what I can feel now is not fear but conviction. Even if I try to leave I guess you would probably tie me up till im healed. Right?"

Nodding at his remark as if that would definitely be her next plan of action if he tried to leave.

Both of them heard the sound of a growl and looked twords that direction after staring into each others eyes for a little while. She was adamit about him staying till he was healed and he was wondering if the woman in front of him was into weird things as she admitted she would tie him up just a little to easily.

"Mommy, I'm hungry."

The source of the growl was non other than the little girls stomach.

The silence was broken by Silver as he tried to get up again while stating.

"Well if i am going to be here for some time i might as well make myself useful."

Heading twords what loked to be the kitchen he was grabed by the woman again but she didnt try to stop him but instead helped him to the kitchen.

She wasnt about to let him cook food for her daughter alone but she wouldnt mind a little help in the kitchen.

The two worked together to make a stew consisting of meat and vegetables. Silver guessed that the ingredients were from the area surrounded the house he was curently in. However when he asked the woman, he noticed she wasnt listening as she seemed compleatly entranced with cutting up some blue flowers that glistened in the light. Noticing one of the petals had fallen onto the table he picked it up and examin it.

"They are called Moon Blooms."

He heard her speak and looked to see her now putting them in a ketle.

"They help with healing wounds and lessening pain for a period of time."

Seeing and hearing her, he put the petal on his tongue. It was sweet and even lessened his pain just a little like she said. The effects werent immediate but after swallowing it and waiting a minute he could feel it.

"As long as the cook is good enough, the effects could even be enhanced so its best to cook it in dishes or make a tea."

Although he heard her and even was wondering if they were common because the effects sounded to good to be true. He was curently looking at the text scrolling across his retina.

Compleatly confused of receaving such a thing from eating a petal. He started to look into the skill by thinking of it and blinking his eyes Like how he had closed his status before. Although he wasnt sure if it would work or not, he was thankful it did as some text started apearing in his field of view.

While reading the text that appeared he noticed a silouet reaching for his face. Before he could fully get rid of the text he felt a hand touch his forehead.

"Are you Alright?"

Noticeing how close she was to him he couldnt help but feel a little awkward. He felt his face heat up a little but wasnt sure why.

"I'm fine."

Responding to her question while gently grabing her hand to lower it off his forehead.

"Well if thats the case do you want to answer my question."

Not sure what the question was he could only ask for her to repeat it.

"I asked what your name is. You have been in my house healing for 3 days but I still dont know your name."

"Wait? 3 days!"

"Thats what I said."

A little surprised by his outburst she unconsciously took a step back and entered a defensive stance.

Silver noticed her do this so he did his best to calm down.

'1 day in game is 12 hours so that means I have been in game for 36 hours.'

Silver looked at the woman in front of him.

'I need to log out but I doubte I can do it in front of her. what would even happen if I did?'

While looking at the person in front of her she could only stare as she didnt even know why he freaked out.

Noticing her stareing. Closeing his eyes he resolved to find a time to log out but there was something elts he needed to deal with first.

Taking a deep breath and opening his eyes he looked at her.

"Sorry about that I was just surprised."

Seeing her nod as she could understand why one would be so shocked from being unconscious for any period of time. He continued.

"My name is Silver. As for a last name, I dont remember."

He was shakeing his head to try and convince her while saying the last part.

She seems to accept what he said as she smiled and relaxed from her stance.

"What about you? What's your name?"

Seeing it as only fair he figured he would ask her the same question.

"M...My name?"

After hearing her sheepish voice, he realized he might of made a mistake of asking her this.

"You dont have to answer if you dont want to. I just figured-"

"Rianna... My name is Rianna."

While saying this he noticed she seemed uncomfortable for some reason as she put her left hand on her right arm and looked away from him.

Silver didnt pry as he hid something from her and knew that everyone has secrets. Of course he only hid the last name he had as it didn't sound much like a last name to him.

Rianna got back to cooking and Silver helped out as best he could. He wanted to help out more but he didn't know most of the ingredients she used and he was hurting with almost ever movement he made. So he listened to her give him directions and did what she told him to.

Enduring the pain and trying not to show it on his face. They finished preparations and all that was left was to cook the meat. Rianna did the cooking while Silver watched and before he knew it, the food was all done.

Rianna helped Silver back to the couch so he could rest after eating and went to get him a bowl of stew. She also pored him some tea Made from the Moon Blooms.

Thanking her when she returned he started to eat and drink the tea. He mainly drank the tea but Rianna threatened to force feed him if he didn't finish his bowl so he ate all he could. He wasnt sure if she was being serious or not but he didnt really want to test that theory.

Although he coulnt eat everything Rianna gave him she seemed satisfied with what he ate so she let him lay down and rest. However once he was laying down he tried to log out.

Two lines of text showed up on his retina. In a low voice he said yes and his vision went dark.
