Crypt of Tragedy: Loot Distrabution System

Now that the tension left everyones body, fatigue hit them like a truck and the only one who didnt fall to the ground panting or just sitting down to rest was Emy who couldnt do much in the boss fight. It wasnt for lack of trying as she had her snow kittens constantly trying to freeze the boss even a little but either it be the shear strength of the boss or its size. The Ice just couldnt get a hold on the boss before it was brushed off.

As Silver looked around him and found Emy looking down at her two snow kittens who were looking back up at her. He could see a faint frown on her face and although he found it a little cute. He also understood he should go over and talk with her to not only try and cheer her up but to also tell her about what he has been thinking since they entered this dungeon.

Getting off the Bosses back and walking over to Emy, Silver took her into a hug from behind and looked at the two snow kittens on the ground who now took a look at him as well.

"You okay?" Silver asked as although he came over to talk he wasnt sure how he should start the conversation.

Emy didnt even respond as she did her best to turn around and cudle into his chest. Although he couldnt see her face, he was sure she must of had a lot going through her mind at the moment.

"They are cute and definitely deadly but maybe we should try and get you another summon." Silver said while looking down at the two snow kittens.

"Zombies clearly arnt your thing. Im not sure what the next floor is but my guess is that after zombies would be skeletons." As soon as Silver mentioned Skeletons he could feel Emy tens up and that made him realized she wasnt all to keen on makeing one her summon either which made him frown.

'What kind of monster could we find in this dungeon that we could get her. I dont even know whats on the 9th to 12th floor and waiting wouldnt help if the 2nd boss on the 8th floor is also immune to her ice.'

Silver for once was actually stumped on what to do. If it was someone elts he would of told them to suck it up and contract a skeleton but this was his girlfriend and someone he wanted to make happy with everything he did.

"Kaiya... You said there was a floor boss right? Do you know what it lookes like or what its skill set is like?" Looking over to Kaiya, Silver asked about the only other posible monster he could think of being in this dungeon.

However Kaiya only shook her head after she thought of it for a minute.

"The one bettween the first and fourth floor is a cloaked mage that will turn into dust after you kill it but the one from here to the 8th floor wasnt on any of the information I had read." Kaiya replyed.

"Lets continue for now and if we run into the floor boss lets catch it alive if possible." Silver said after thinking over his sisters words.

'Its not like we cant just kill it if Emilia dosnt like it after all.'

"Catch the floor boss alive? Why dont we kill it for the loot?" Ailia asked when she heard what Silver said. She was of the opinion that a floor boss was a great chance to get more loot to help them against the Bosses that they would face later on.

"If you dont like my decision then the exit portal is right there." Silver said with a firm tone that startled everyone there.

Ailia, Cristy, and LIyr didnt expect that the leader of the party would tell them to get out if they didnt like his decision.

In truth they wanted to stay as this is the first group that agreed to take them along in this dungeon and they were sure that even if they didnt get to the end of the dungeon, they would at least get to level 5 before the boss on the 8th floor or at the very least after the boss on the 8th floor. Getting to Level 5 alone would make it easyer to come back and get another group with ease.

"Its not that we dont agree with your decision. Its just that the loot droped from a floor boss could help us in killing the Bosses on the other floors." Cristy decided to step in to explain why Ailia asked what she did.

"The snow kittens couldnt freeze the boss so if we can get a stronger monster to lend a extra hand in our fights agains the boss then I dont see the problem with catching it alive." Silver said to their surprise.

"You plan on useing a contract scroll on a floor boss?!" LIyr couldnt believe his ears. Not only did this group let them join them in a atemped to clear the dungeon but they also have a scroll srong enough to tame a floor boss. 'Just who are these people?' LIyr couldnt help but ask himself this question.

However it wasnt just LIyr who was asking this question internally as both Ailia and Cristy were also thinking the exact same thing. If they knew only moments before that Silver was contemplating to have Emy tame the boss on this floor, they would surly die from shock.

Contract scroll's capible of tameing bosses were rair to say the least. In all of the world there was only a few known scrolls that could do such a thing and they wouldnt be used on a boss in a level 5 dungeon.

Although Silver didnt know this he still believed that Emys skill wouldnt be so simple. If skills that could contract creatures was common place then the Contract scroll's wouldnt cost so much after all. This is also why Silver didnt shy away from considering contracting bosses. If it really was impossible then they would just have to do what they could to kill the boss before they die.

Deciding not to correct them and just showing a deceiving smile before turning his attention back to Emy. Silver could see she still was enjoying being so close to him so he just stood there and rubed her back as a means to help her feel better.

The others in the group could also see that Silver had decided to confront Emy and thought it might be a little bit before they continue so with a unanimous vote they set up a small camp not far from the portals and a chest that appeared after the boss died to take a break long enough to eat and regain both some mana and energy.

The hug between the two only lasted for about 5 minutes before Emy left Silvers arms and walked over to join the others. It wasnt that she didn't want to hug him more but even she wasnt oblivious enough not to notice the small talks about their relationship that was happening in the makeshift camp.

Silver still didnt get why Emilia didnt want to talk about their relationship to the others but he wasnt all that against keeping it a secret as he questioned how his sister and mom would react. Although he didnt show it, he was a little worried for some reason that even he wasnt sure of.

Also walking over to sit down and take a break and talk about how the fight went and how they could improve. The group rested for close to half a hour before deciding to continue in their dungeon exploration.

So far it has taken them a little more than 2 hours to get to where they are after all the bumps they had while getting use to each other's fighting styles and how best to synergies with each other. Even now when they just fought with the boss Kaiya had realized she needed to re-apply her taunt sooner than she was as she had lost the bosses agro a few times during the fight.

As the group was cleaning up and getting ready to proceed to the next floor Silver along with Kaiya, Ailia, and Rachel went over to the chest that looked a little rusty. Since Silver was the party leader, it gave him the right to distribute the loot as he sees fit.

Kaiya had informed him of this fact but when Silver said he didnt like that fact they agreed to talk about who would get the item based on a simple system. If the item fit the need category for a specific person then they would get it. For example if it was a rapier then it would go to Rachel and if it was a shield it would go to Kaiya.

Then there was the want category. For example If it was a pice of gear like gloves or shoes then they would see who wants it and then use the deck of cards Kaiya bought and have everyone draw until the Ace card got pulled. The system obvious had some flaws but they thought it would work for now.

Ailia didnt disagree with this system as everyone would have a fair chance of getting the gear, even her and her friends would have a chance so it sounded good to them.
