"So," Jewel looks at Andrew after giving the others their creme brulee, "is the issue about Xie fixed? Is she okay?"

"Yeah, the issue was fixed. And yes, I believe she is."

"I'm glad I got there in time. Otherwise, by now, she would have had a miscarriage."

"Something Ivanos wouldn't have liked, less his parents."

"Well, it's all in the past. Let's change the subject." Jewel sits against a wall and gives Andrew a cheeky smile. "Mother wanted me to let you know that within the Mia corporation, we are in a need for a new CEO. She was wondering whether you would like to take the title!"

"... CEO... of the Mia corporation?" He asked, completely surprised.

"Yeah! Bro, we can see that you are worthy of being one!! But, we are not going to force you to take the role. It's your decision. Take your time. When your answer is ready, let mother know." Not waiting for a reply, Jewel stands up and walks away.

"What do you think?" Andrew asked as he sat on the couch and gently pull Sasuko onto his lap.

Smiling small, Sasuko walks away to attend the baby. Sighing, Andrew stands up and makes a call. Upon no answer, he sets his phone to the side.

'Whenever I need you, you always tend to be busy dammit.' Andrew thought as he went to Pakura.

"Hello, child." Pakura said when she noticed his presence. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing really."

"Now, don't you start lying to me. You are way too young to start doing that."

"H-heh..."

"Now, what's wrong?"

"Do... you really think that rank is for me?"
