"Pfft--Miru!"
Katheena was ignored. Her dear friend continued his sulking despite her calls. She was kneeling beside his seat while trying to get his head out of his folded arms. She did not meant to be rude, but the video really made her laugh. Enough for her to forget the existence of her friend, who was literally right beside her.
"Miru, Miru?"
"Forgiv--pfft--me okay?" Katheena had laughed for 5 minutes straight, received different kinds of not-so-approving stares in that short duration, but it seemed she was still far from done. She tried to hold herself back, but the occasional sound, of her puffing air, irked Miru.
Miru could feel his anger meter rising. Every time he'd hear her suppressed giggles and insincere apologies, the shade of red on his face would deepen.
"Shut up Kath" The grumpy Miru didn't raise his head. He does not want to be seen, no, never, that'd be embarassing. And he didn't want to see Katheena. The girl was as insensitive as one could get.
"Why are you sulking? My sugar baby frien---"
"Shut Up Kath" That was the final straw. Miru lost his marbles and glared at Katheena.
"Oopsie---sorry!"
Just the mere thought that tons of people actually thought he was a sugar baby and an underage one at that, infuriates him so much. He couldn't understand why words of his so-called age, which they assumed was around 16, circled around the net for several months.
Katheena mentioned a group of girls filmed him as he fought with Solei before and she was in a fight with them to prevent them from doing the said act. But in the end, Katheena had no choice but to let the girls go. The girls probably uploaded it for some online clout. Unfortunately for him, tons of people on the net saw it as their cup of tea.
The social media slash the-online-court condemned him, and his online unwanted persona, 'an underage sugar baby' became his darkest history.
Katheena made an action of zipping her mouth. She then went back to her seat and quietly waited for Miru to vent his anger out. Although the anticipated 'steaming off' did not occured right off the bat.
Miru sighed and ignored her again. He had no energy left to argue with her, so he instead raised his head to look around. He suddenly wanted to consume some sweets. After spotting some waiter, he called for them.
Oddly enough, Miru noticed that there were five waiters in the cafe, which was a surprise, as not all cafes have that many servers. Two were female and the other one was a man with a light brown curly hair.
The two female waitresses glanced at Miru's table and an odd excitement crossed their faces. Before the two could even attend to Miru, the light-haired waiter had already beat them into it.
The male waiter greeted before asking.
"Your order please?" Miru glanced at the man and the foreign name on his tag caught his eyes.
'Aki Hoshii? Japanese? '
"Sir?" The waiter, Hoshii, noticed Miru staring off into nowhere and called out to him again. He was successful as Miru instantly snapped out of his thoughts.
"Ah yes, Mocha...." Miru trailed off when he noticed Katheena staring at him in the corner of his eyes. He was planning not to order her favorite Brownie Sundae just to clapback, but he could barely stay mad at his friend. In the end, he sighed and ordered her share.
"Mocha and one Brownie Sundae please"
The waiter, named Hoshii, thanked them as usual and left.
Miru sighed and ruffled his hair slightly, causing his black-rimmed glasses to crook a little. He fixed it before he started with his complaints.
"I don't get why they claimed my age was 16. I was 20 at that time! Freakin' 20! Why would I be in there if I was underaged?"
Katheena watched him talk to himself and decided to chime in.
"The reason they probably thought that way was because you're my friend and my Mom's the owner--" Miru glared at his blood-boiling-friend and shushed her.
"Not another word Katheena"
Katheena made another zipping mouth action and sat on her seat quietly, and obediently. Better think twice before angering a pissed-off Miru.
"Those girls--if I could just see them, just one time--grr"
If he could just see them again, he'd definitely correct all their misconceptions about his past relationship. All their accusations were just straight out ridiculous.
Miru wanted so badly to clap back and clear his name, but that would mean he had to expose his identity. The video was of low quality, so nobody knew who he truly was. Katheena's mother also made sure that everyone present at that club wouldn't be able to tell a soul about Miru and Solei's identity. Not that it was a hard task.
The fight happened at the peak of the party, so most people were wasted, all were vibing to the mood of the club. Everyone was drunk, including Miru, and only a few could name some of Miru's features. All of which, of course, contributed to one characteristic: white skin.
All the slightly sane people's statements about Miru's physical traits were that he was extremely white. Nobody could name Miru, but some recognized Solei since he's a pretty famous douchebag. Heera took care of them, though.
"I should have pulled their hair harder." Katheena unzipped her mouth and added fuel to the fire.
"You should have ripped her hair off her scalp!"
"That's brutal, but yeah, I agree." Katheena nodded and shamelessly indulged Miru's brutal thoughts. Afterall, she lost a few hair strands in that fight and even experienced a tarzan-punch. It was truly regrettable she wasn't able to rip that brown hair off that bitch.
"Yeah, you sh-" Before Katheena could even finish her words, the sound of a continuous beep made her jump in fright.
Miru looked at his watch upon hearing his watch's beeping and realized it had already ticked to 9.
"Crap! Gotta go! Bye!" Miru briefly kissed Katheena's cheeks goodbye before storming off the cafe in a hurry. The sound of the small bells jinggling as he moved the entryway open and closed made Katheena snap out of it.
"Hey! You ordered something!"
"Shhhh!" Several other customers shushed the girl, who had previously been nothing but a source of noise pollution. Katheena ignored all of them and shouted again.
"Miru! Your MOCHA!"
"You pay!" Miru waved at her before running away. It didn't take him a second to completely vanish from Katheena's line of sight. Just a swift turn on a corner and Katheena lost all her chances of stopping Miru.
"Wtf Man"
"Your....orders?" Hoshii arrived with Katheena sitting on the table all alone. In his tray was the items Miru had previously ordered.
Katheena placed her hands down which was previously used as her chin holder, and spoke after several gulps.
"Do you accept dishwashers?"
