One by one, Mat's troops entered Hinggus. No kidding, the total troops that Mat brought amounted to hundreds. For Alpha, it's not much different from what Hinggus has, but for members of each pack, it has a large number.
From the previous battle, it was quite influential with the stamina of Hinggus' troops. Not so draining, but still an effect. Not to mention, the mentality of some of them was a little disturbed because they had killed troops who were Orlin citizens who they should not have fought.
As a senior Alpha with a lot of experience in Orlin battles, Luke tried to control his team. Making sure they stayed alert, and didn't let their guard down. There were things they had to protect.
Previously, when Luke was still part of Orlin's elite forces, there were many events he had gone through. Including defending Hinggus for the first time. It was also Luke's last battle before finally deciding to leave his team and seclude himself together with Rena.
