The Exercise
This afternoon Luke, Shan, Leon, and Gretta practiced outside the mansion which was the only building on the small island. Not to get better, but to improve their power to get back to normal. Since the last few weeks, it felt too exhausting and the situation was in favor of them getting weaker.
Shan practiced spearfighting with Luke and Ryan, while Gretta practiced her archery skills with the help of Leon as she developed her knife skills.
Haikal watched them from the second floor balcony, there was a sense of excitement that he could not hide when he saw them gathered below. In all these years, Haikal had never seen such a sight.
Luke left Hinggus right after Leon entered the island and King Adelmo has been ruling ever since. Many activities in Hinggus continued as usual. Training continued, but not with the laughter and camaraderie that came with it. Ambition for victory far outweighed the sense of kinship between fellow Alphas.
