One day, the opportunity came to her out of nowhere, and she... -------- Art goes to the artist, as I don't own it. **SPOILERS to those who didn't play FGO** I also don't own the characters. The Sea of Beginning

A void-like place, where normality cannot truly exist within.

It lies in an area apart from the norm of reality and space...

The Imaginary Number Space.

No, it was more akin to a sea, as the term space is not appropriate for such a place. The sea is hostile to all normal life, and whatever comes into it will disintegrate. As it was said, it is like a void.

So it would be called the Imaginary Number Sea...

However, there are beings that can dwell within such a terrifying sea...beings that are chaotic, mostly unnamed. If they were to ever descend onto the reality in which humanity lived, they can destroy life on a scale hitherto undreamt of.

Within the ever encroaching darkness, one such being drifted within the sea.

This being appears to be a woman with light blue hair. Her arm and legs clad in restraints, her large, dark ram-like horns that were said to symbolize the land, her eyes that reflect the inner sea of the planet.

It is said that her features represent the planet itself.

However, why is such a being drifting within the imaginary sea?

Why? Because...

She was rejected...

Left behind.

She was cast off, discarded, and imprisoned by those whom she loved.

Her descendants. Her children.

She stared wistfully from the depths of the sea, seeing light flashing and darknening at a distance. The experience was akin to looking above from the bottom of a deep pool during a sunny day.

There, she waited for a chance to come back to the world she loved.

For an uncountable number of years, she waited.

And waited...

And waited...

For a chance to return to the world, the world where the life whom she gave birth to blossomed. She wished to see it, to see how life evolved without her...

'Oh how I wish I can see them grow, how I wish I was loved...like I loved them...'

She reached out to the light with her arms, but then stopped midway, bringing her arms back to her sides. She then crossed them, laying each hand on her shoulders, her eyelids closing her red iris eyes, white cross shaped pupils.

For a time she was floating and drifting aimlessly within the imaginary number sea...

Until finally, something seemed to connect to her

An unfamiliar, yet familiar presence

Her face slightly shifted to confusion. What is this connection, and where was it coming from?

She barely only thought for a little, when all of a sudden she realized it for what it was...

An opportunity.

The opportunity of what it could be...

A chance. A chance to escape from the depths, the confines of the imaginary sea.

A connection to reality...

A way to return home.

Feeling such a connection, her face brightened slightly.

Slightly brimming with joy, she eagerly grabbed onto the chance, and the chance pulled her up from the depths of the imaginary sea...

And into the light.

I had this idea brewing for a month...and now.

I can actualize it.
