Strong.

That's what Isaac thought upon seeing Cain's display of brute strength.

After the female giant had fallen, despite the battle in the arena coming to a slight pause as everyone watched with wide eyes, it wasn't long until alliances had started to be made.

What was once a free for all had turned into team battles as the weaker students joined forces to stand a chance.

Meanwhile, Isaac and Zach both stood with their backs to the arena wall, chatting from time to time and watching everything happen.

There would be a few times someone would approach them, however, upon glancing toward both Isaac and Zach's watches, they gave a dissatisfied click of the tongue, soon moving on.

They wouldn't be able to prove anything from beating a few F ranks, no one would care.

They were looking to impress the teachers. They'd do that better by fighting higher ranked individuals.

It was because of this reason both Isaac and Zach were able to stay out of the battle until a loud buzzer rang in the arena, indicating the end of the test.

"I congratulate you all for your efforts today." Harrison once again appeared on the balcony as he spoke with a heavy voice.

As he said this, his eyes darted toward a few individuals in the crowd.

"In a few seconds, you will be sent a map of campus, as well as direction to your dorm." Right on cue, a pleasant 'Ding' was heard as everyone glanced toward their watches.

"Additionally, each student will have a personalised schedule for lessons, as well as two extra subjects you wish to take up for yourself."

"You are not forced to pick up the extra subjects, however, it's highly recommended so that you may have a better chance at your second scenario, which will be in 10 months time."

Scrolling through the features of the watch, Isaac was surprised.

Not only did the watch offer basic necessities like the time, calls and a map, but it also had a list of items currently on the market.

"S?" Isaac mumbled, noticing the letters after every number.

'Must be the currency of this place.'

"Classes will begin the day after tomorrow." Harrison finished as he turned around, disappearing once again.

As he did, the large gates of the arena swung open and everyone made their way out, Isaac included.

It wasn't long until he stepped foot outside the arena as a fresh breeze washed over his face.

Isaac froze as his eyes fell upon the grand sight before him.

The arena they had just exited was perched atop a hill, overlooking the campus below.

A few large buildings with sleek and detailed architecture could be seen built in an enormous clearing in the middle of a never ending forest.

Off to the side were a few other buildings, though smaller and not designed as well.

Because of the map, Isaac was able to tell these were the dorms, as everyone seemed to be heading in that direction.

"Move!"

As Isaac watched, he felt something shove him from behind, making him stumble a little.

Looking back with a raised eyebrow, Isaac noticed a female wearing a short skirt and blouse.

With her large round glasses and curly long brunette hair, she often drawed the eyes of the surrounding men.

Before Isaac could say anything, Zach grabbed him by the shoulder.

"It's not worth it. That's Amara Khan, one of the Golden Six."

Isaac stared at Zach's hand on his shoulder.

'What did he think I was going to do?'

Isaac wasn't one to lose his temper easily. After all, he trained himself throughout his life to control his emotions and act accordingly.

It would take more than this to make his talk.

Thankfully, it didn't seem like Amara spared a second glare to Isaac, soon disappearing into the crowd.

"Where are you going to go now?" Zach asked.

"To my dorm." Isaac answered simply. He wanted to take the free day he had tomorrow to figure a few things out.

"Me too. I guess I'll see you around." Zach waved as Isaac did the same, soon parting ways with him.

"Who is that boy?"

A large bald man with a scar adorned across his forehead, as well as a shaggy overgrown ginger beard, stood before a handful of large screens in a dark room as countless individuals worked around him.

Currently, he watched as a ginger haired boy with a bandana writhing on the ground, holding his broken nose.

"That would be Andrew Goldfield. Inherited by Smoker: a B-ranked Character, of the One Piece world: an A-ranked verse. His current rank stands at a D-." A man wearing a lab coat with a clipboard in his hand spoke behind Harrison.

"A Logia? How has he been hurt?" Harrison raised an eyebrow.

"He previously engaged in a confrontation against another student…" The assistant paused as Harrison glanced at him.

"What? Who was the student?"

"Well, his name is Isaac. No second name. And he's a…Wanderer, sir."

Harrison darted his head toward the assistant, snatching the clipboard from his hands.

"What?! Why have I not been informed about this?"

Yelling, Harrison took a look at the information regarding the student, as the large man stared at the image of the amber eyed boy.

However, it wasn't long until the shock on his face dwindled, soon disappearing, replaced with his usual neutral demeanour.

"I see. F rank, huh?" Harrison handed back the clipboard as he turned his eyes back to the screen before him.

"How disappointing." He muttered.

"We believe the injury was caused because Mr Goldfield still has yet to master his Devil Fruit." Harrison soon nodded in agreement.

"That seems plausible. After all, it's unlikely the Wanderer has even heard of Nen, let alone learnt it. Impossible, even."

It wasn't long until the screen before Harrison changed as he began observing a few other students.

"And be sure to confiscate those cigars from that boy."

"Dorm room 62."

Isaac stood before a door in a long hallway as he darted his eyes from his watch to the number on the door, making sure he wasn't mistaken.

Pressing his watch against the small scanner above the door handle, a faint 'Beep' was heard as Isaac turned the handle and walked in.

As he did, he was met with a small living room with a large couch before a TV. Off to the side was a door that led to the kitchen.

The room was quite simplistic, the closest thing to a luxury item being the small wooden coffee table between the TV and couch.

Looking around, Isaac noticed four doors.

Assuming one was a bathroom, the other three could only be bedrooms, meaning Isaac wouldn't be living alone.

He soon confirmed that by peeking into the rooms.

Standing in the living room for a few seconds, Isaac opted for the furthest room from the door.

And just like the living room, his room was nothing special. From the simple single bed in the corner of the room, to the plain brown cupboard and even the simple desk, the room was convenient at best.

But Isaac didn't care.

To him, this looked like a Palace.

Walking to his desk, Isaac took a seat.

'Time to see the spoils of my hard work.'

As he thought this, a screen appeared before him.

[Would you like to accept your rewards?]

"Yes." Isaac answered simply.

In the same second, a few items appeared from thin air, dropping atop his desk.

However, Isaac had lost focus.

Suddenly, a hammering pain tore through his body as he fell off his chair.

[Your body will now undergo changes]

Loud cracks were heard as Isaac felt as if his bones were shattering and healing, only to be shattered once more.

His muscles tore like plastic and the white in his eyes turned blood red.

His insides felt as if they were being woven. All the way down to his cells, Isaac could feel unimaginable pain.

However, Isaac had gone through far worse.

The pain of the Zobae Disease was far greater, and it was because of this reason he was able to bite his tongue and resist the urge to let out a blood curdling scream.

And so, an unknown amount of time passed as Isaac struggled and seized on the ground.

***

"Haaaa"

Isaac breathed heavily as the pain finally subsided.

He rested in a pool of his own sweat, trying to catch his breath as he ignored the cramping feeling in his muscles.

On his back and facing the ceiling, Isaac stared at the text before him.
