"I said, he is taken." The smile on Vincent's face widened, and his grip on Nix's waist tightened even more.

 

Nix flickered his eyes and let out a deep breath. "Nix…" He called him, and Vincent turned his head to look at him, his signature smirk hanging on his lips.

 

"Yes, honey." He answered, and for a moment there, Nix felt like barfing on him.

"Yes!" Vincent responded to the lady with his eyes still fixed on Nix before she could even complete her question, and an awkward smile emerged on the woman's face.

 

"Ahhh… I see…" She slowly nodded her head and cleared her throat, saying, "I will be taking my leave now. My apologies." She apologized, and with an embarrassed expression apparent on her face, she turned around and walked off.
