She grabbed hold of her chest and stood up from the sofa.

 

She rushed into one of the open rooms within the house and hurried into the bathroom.

 

She scurried to the sink and leaned down, spurting out a mouthful of blood.

 

She breathed heavily, and her eyes, which had already teared up in pain, flickered rapidly.

 

Slowly, she raised her head and glanced at herself through the mirror.

 

"Am I even going to make it past three weeks?" She asked herself and turned the tap on.

 

She scooped up a handful of water and splashed it on her face. Then she rinsed her bloody mouth and took a long, deep breath.

 

'You're going to be fine. You will not die." She assured herself and sighed deeply.

 

She turned around and walked out of the room, then she proceeded towards the kitchen.

 

She pulled the fridge open and grabbed a bottle of water.
