My vision falls through the various legacies of my journey.
Some were swordsmen, magicians, archers, assassins, tankers, and everything else imaginable.
Throughout various times, I had encountered lots of people that had already chosen their fate and destiny of their future class.
But I still lack the determination to choose an unclear and unknown path that might decide my fate.
A great number of people had chosen roles such as fighters, defenders, rangers, and others more.
But I still hesitate to take a very common but unpopular role.
A supporter…
Commonly, this is because of the multitude of people who aren't talented, who can't stand fighting, or who are simply passionate about supporting others.
Unpopular because no one wants to leave their fate and life in the hands of others.
In this day and world. A supporter who can't defend itself is practically a person offering free labor to the strong. They are practically defenseless and are forced to work for them.
A slave towards society...
So why would people choose a supporter instead of a role that can rely on yourself and be the top of the society?
None of us would like to work for others without getting anything in return.
Of course. Except if you have someone who is willing to protect you and be your support. Everything would be fine?
But is that reliable? No one with a higher status would work and be a slave for a person with a lower status. And even if they do.
There will be a time when they will be exhausted from always carrying someone else around.
And that would be the time when a supporter would be totally useless.
After all, a supporter can only be a supporter if they support someone else. And if they are alone. That person would be useless and incompetent.
And if you still say that supporters are still useful?
Who says that a supporter is the only one who can support?
A defender can defend a ranger.
A ranger can perceive the surroundings for any sort of sneak attack.
An assassin can get rid of troublesome characters in a team fight.
What can a supporter do aside from some heal and shield?
If anyone can replace a supporter with another character, that can be 2 roles.
Who would opt for a support that could be a liability?
They are weak, slow, fragile, inadequate, dull, and limp.
Every definition of weak you could think of.
But their usefulness is still there. They can heal, they can boost, stun, or others that might change the tide of a fight.
But as I said. If they aren't on the same level or status with the others roles.
Aren't they slaves that are forced to work for somebody else?
They are still useless to themselves.
Just pitiful slaves.
That's why in the legacy kingdom. Because they are weak and unable to defend themselves, the supporter's country has been devastated by the other country's roles.
A supporter are people who are very rich in resources, as much of their usefulness is an exchange of their service for their support.
A transparent panel that looks like the one from video games shows up in front of me with an introduction of the legacy.
(System panel)
[ The Support Empire's Inheritance: The Support Empire had been ravaged and destroyed by its nearby roles empire because of the Support Empire's vast amount of resources. After that, its people had been enslaved, tortured, raped, killed, humiliated, and subjected to every sort of inhuman action against them.
The supporter empire perished with an unwilling heart.
Before its destruction. All the supporter kingdoms of the supporter empire had gathered every kingdom's inheritance and legacy into an individual who was willing to collect the fragments scattered in the legacy world, the pieces of the supporter empire legacy, and thus form the whole legacy set of the supporter empire. ]
I look down at the simple token with a support symbol on my hand. My hesitation weakens as I strengthen my determination and accept this legacy token.
My mind wills to press the "accept" button on the system panel in front as I can feel the immediate changes my body is going through.
My eyes lay on the system screen that slowly changed my class of "none" into "supporter."
I release a small sigh as my tension slowly releases.
All of the fragmented legacies were in locations with top-tier and well-known legacies.
Although I have a strong will and mind. It is really tempting and difficult to give up legacies such as those of space magicians, chaos magicians, time magicians, time swordsmanship, space archers, resurrection tankers, space assassins. And all sorts of legacies.
Only talented people can have the opportunity to go to those locations, and unfortunately for me, Those legacies had already been spotted, reserved, or taken.
There are a very limited number of people who can own such legacies, and the only way to do so is when these people die in the real world.
At that time. A spot would be free, and everyone would have a chance to own it and change their class again.
Those talented or untalented people would be forced to take weaker legacies and wait until a stronger one showed up.
I can't afford to wait.
If I am late in establishing a decent legacy, I will be left behind and disadvantaged.
So it's all thanks to luck that I had been given this mission to collect the legacy fragments, as it would be harder to level up faster.
[ The supporter empire's inheritance limited number of people: (0/1) ]
As well as it's all depend on luck of the kind of inheritance that might make me a powerhouse or a slave as scarce legacy could be of how rare and strong it is. Or because they simply suck and are its worst of its kind. Not strong enough to be used by the common people.

I looked up and saw a gigantic translucent clock with a timer of a few seconds.
One has a limited amount of time to explore the legacy world.
As the clock strikes twelve. Every single human living disappears like breaking glass as I slowly return to the living world.
My eyes open as I stare at the typical roof of my room.
Ring…ring…ring…ring…ring…
The school bell sounded out as opening doors were constantly heard in the school.
I was instantly awake as I stood up and went to the assembly hall.
No person needs to prepare themselves, as they already did before their transfer to the legacy world.
"Hey hey hey? What legacy did you get? Ah, I was unlucky. I got an alchemist legacy."
"Haha, really? Well, for me, it's the opposite. I had the good fortune to inherit a tanker's legacy. Ahhh, how happy I am. I can die in peace."
"Hahaha. You have a tanker? Well, I have a swordman class! From now on, I will have many skills that no one can!"
"Oh, I am so jealous. I wish I got a swordsman's legacy. I got the worst one of all. I got an archer's legacy."
"You guys have legacies?"
