Celebration!
Dr Julie nodded in response and said proudly.
"Mr and Mrs Treshvire, congratulations. you're both expecting twin boys."
"Twin! Boys!" Leon's eyes widened like a saucer. He gaped from an unsurprised Ella to Dr Julie and back to Ella. Even though Doctor Julie was speaking in plain English, his brain found it difficult to digest the information.
Dr Julie opened her folder and brought out Ella's conducted ultrasound scan printout. She handed it over to a dumbfounded Leon, who in turn gave it to his wife as he could understand the funny looking picture.
Doctor Julie took a few minutes to explain the result of the scan to the couple.
After she was done with her explanation, she decided to leave the couple and give them a little privacy to digest the results.
"I will take my leave now if you both don't mind," Dr Julie said smiling before leaving the ward
Ella waited for Dr Julie to shut the door before responding to Leon's earlier question.
