Plan (5) Master of the beast and the news

Far from the palace.

Inside the Geneivre Mansion, the servant were busy preparing Edith outing on a picnic near the Jadelith lake surrounded by the standing fir tree. Its located not too far away from their mansion, everyone inside the house could reach it within an hour by riding on a carriage. Their mansion built further in the northeast area from the town, separated by the flower field and small rivers that connected to the capital.

It's a peaceful resident with constant patrol from the Count Guard.

Geneivre territories or people commonly called it Silendria town was ones of the city that full of merchant and adventurer stopover because its location near the Glacia Capital. As the Harrison Ducal established the trade route from their port in the west areas to the Geneivre mainland made it more flourish.

Silendria become one of the most developed town because of their geography. The count's lead several nearby land as their duty to collect tax and helping the common people. Mostly of them works as a farmer but people in Silendria had a varying jobs due to its development.

Because of it, every newest information which was released from the capital could shortly reach the town ears. Some of it like news about the upcoming delegations from the Durham kingdom arrival announced two days ago and everyone already aware of it. Then a letter arrived at the mansion when Edith told her servants to pass her commission to a certain workshop for making a musical instruments 'a guitar', before she left the mansion..

"Excuse me, My Lady..." A man said to her with a gentleman manner. Edith looks at the man directions. He was in mid twenties, wearing a government uniform uniquely to glacia empire, he was using a simple carriage with an empire flag on it as his identities.

"Pardon my rudeness, I am Scott Oswald. A messenger from the Emperor, I am here to delivering a letter to the Count." he stated.

"Pleased to meet you sir Scott. I am Lady Edith Geneivre, I'll relay your message to our butler as I am about to go outside. Please do not feel offended by my behavior, for sure that Counts are inside the mansion." Edith curtsied him and randomly and called a maid who helping her prepare.

"Tamara, do inform Derrick as well as bring Sir Scott into the guest room, prepare a refreshment and let Derrick handle this matter." Edith said calmly,

"As you wish, My lady." She answered.

"Thank you, Lady Edith." Oswald stated as they bowed at each other. Tamara leads the messenger inside the mansion as she left for a picnic.

Before the outing scheduled, Edith was bored to death while waiting the news about his majesty approval upon her request, It would be different if she had a guitar or a violin. Selena was aggravated when she saw her lady dozing off lazily on the sofa for two days straight. She didn't attend a tea party since her weird behavior on the way to the Madam Selby boutique, nor she held ones, to sum it up her lady seems milder. That's why she was rushing her to take a picnic on the lake, only to be given a task of handing commission request to the workshop. Selena sighed and leave to the town with one of the knight.

Thus... There Edith was, inside the carriage without her maid. Accompanied by two knights, travelling into the further fir forest. As she sees the scenery on the way, she opens the window carriage.

The refreshing air filled with forest scent greeting her nose. She was pleased as her tensed shoulder relaxed.

'Living inside this new world doesn't seem bad.' "Should I'm travelling instead ?" She asks herself.

Looking past the windows she was amazed by the nature. Her worries about 'Edith' fate melt down the moment she saw the greenies' scenery around, maybe there are many exotics place somewhere else and beautiful enough to sightseeing it.

After several minutes passed, the carriage halted and a noise waking Edith up from her trance.

Knock~ Knock~

Edith who was daydreaming shifted her eyes towards the sound, spotting a brown haired knight in front of the door.

"Is this the place ?"

"Yes, it is My lady. We're arrived." the knight stated.

She then asks the knight to help her bring the food baskets when Edith herself hold the picnic blanket. The knight leads the way when she's following him.

After a few minutes walking around the forest, she could see the lake sceneries.

The lake surface was glistening under the sun. Its green light colored water was clear enough to see the rock underneath, and the white sand adorns each side of the lake.

The lake surrounded by the tall fir tree made it more surreal as she could feel the wind breeze softly graze her skin. This whole experience very much warming her heavy heart, never did she felt like this whenever Edith went to the tourism site with water thing in it. She was elated, a consciously smiling like a stupid person as she runs to the lakeside. Edith was playing on top of the sand while touching the water, attracting the attention of the surrounding creatures that live in the lake.

"Be careful!!" the knight couldn't stop her pace, and immediately run at her directions.

Edith was astonished to see an unknown weird looking fish inside the water, while the knight breathing a. sigh of relief.

"It's axomiryd, a typical lake fish that light up when the night ascends. They weren't dangerous." He said, explaining to the curious Edith.

She was listening while occasionally playing with water. "Sir knight, Set the blanket on top of the grass. I'll be relaxing in this spot." she said, scrutinize the fish and glanced at the knight directions.

"They're cute." She responded to his statement. "Thank you." she continued making the knight flustered by her smile.

The knight lay the blanket as well as the food baskets, Edith told him to take some sandwich for them which was the knight followed after bantering for sometimes.

Edith takes a nap on top the blanket while looking at the clear sky. She could hear the rustling sound from the trees, sending a peaceful atmosphere until some beast type creature wriggling to reach the food baskets.

She shifted her eyesight into the beast, observing the lizard like creature with round black eyes. It had leaves scale around its body, almost like the leaves itself. And its in green limelight tone color. It tilted its head, looking back at her.

Edith heartbeat nearly jumped again, but she took a deep breath before she could scream out of her lungs. The creature opens the baskets' lid, reaching a bottle of fruit jar. It struggled on unlocked the bottle cap while Edith sat still examining the little beasts.

'Aww so cutee!' Edith was squealing inside her mind.

The beast gave up and rolling the bottle to Edith. It big doe eye rounding, as if pleading her to help the creature.

"Here, I'll help you." Edith reaches the bottle while the lizard moving swiftly to her. She opens the cap when the little lizards rushing to eat the jam inside.

"Excuse me..."

Someone voice rang from one of the bushes, a man in his twenty pop out. He had sea salt curly hair color with his lagoon green eyes, wearing a robe and walking straight at her.

Edith gulped, the man was white pale like her with rosy lips in faint shade. Their eyes intertwined, observing each other.

'What's wrong with this world beauty standard !?!' he thought inwardly.

"Rix, comes here." The man said, then the beast ran to him after licking Edith's face. He looks at the empty bottle, then the girl.

"Thank you for his meals." he stated, and left Edith dumbfounded face.

The man left her alone without looking back while the little beast energetically looking at her from his shoulder.

Edith brow furrowed, she was annoyed.

'Man, why so many douche bag in this soap opera ?'

"Another jerk." she sighed, while taking a sandwich from the baskets. Hoping the sceneries could ease the burning pain on her stomach.

'Still that little guy was so cute.'

She spent her time until the afternoon, mostly napping in the open place.

When she arrived at the mansion, his brother rushed to hug her. She was crushed under his big bear hug, and has difficulty breathing.

"B-brother!! Why the fuck !? I can't breathe!!" She was truly annoyed, her big brother immediately let her go with a frown on his face.

"Where did you learn to speak like that ?" Adam's was deadly serious. He holds Edith on her shoulder, shot a piercing gaze at her crimson eyes and looking for an answer.

'Crap!?' "A-anyway, why did older brother looks so happy?" she switch the topic, how come she explains that all her swearing was past habit ?. When she clearly remembers how Edith belittling methods ?

Adam's who sees his little sister guilt-innocent smile which was clearly different from her past self deciding to pass it. Rather he was excitedly told her that he himself would be accompanying her for at least a month in there.

"You see, the emperor allowing you to live in another kingdom !!" He said excitedly.

Hearing that, Edith frowned faces brighten. She was feeling jolly.

"HOLY FUCK!!" she shouted and hugging back her brother, only did Adam's face distorted again.

"But, brother ! Why did you feel happy to ?" Edith asks, realizing that her brother was overly overjoyed.

Her question loosening his contorted face, he looks at his sister adoringly.

"Because I'll be accompanying you for at least a month." He's smiling, causing the pair red eyes widening from its place.

"That's really, a drop shit bomb ever!?"
