Chapter 210

"Thank you for everything" I say looking at them

"Thank you for everything, and especially you Adrian".

I say this because i realise that without Adrian, without Adrian I would not be here at all.

Without him I would still be working in a ramen store, if not that he had discouraged me from taking my life that day, if not that he had told me that wasn't the best option and that I should still try to have some hope, I'm pretty sure that I would be a body washing along the water bank totally untended and uncared for by anyone else.

"Seriously, you guys are the best" I say looking at them and they all come in for a hug.

Ercles is grumbling, he's almost grumbling saying something like questioning us about why we're hugging so tightly.

I have to chuckle at this, he is a very very surprising little boy, he is a very very surprising little boy, that I have to give him.

Really, knowing that Lucas would be here, knowing that Lucas would be here and practically telling me to slap him was very, very brave of him, very very very brave and Lucas has a lot of guts to carry out that sort of action.

"Are you ready to go back home now?" I say looking at him and putting the question out there.

I mean time should have passed, a lot of time should have gone by, time should be fast spent and ten should not be so far any more should it?.

Adrain glances over at his watch, he glances at his watch and his eyes fly open wide in trepidation.

He almost looks funny, he almost looks pretty comical and I wonder why he is panicked.

"We are late aren't we?" I say and he nods his head.

"How many more minutes till ten?" I say looking at him and he smiles sadly.

"It's already 10:15".

You would know that the matter was serious and so it was not something to be joked about.

"What will actually happen?" I say looking at them and nobody gives me an answer.

"What happens if we are out after curfew?, is it really going to be anything serious?" I say looking at all of them and Adrian nods his head.

"Father and mother will not be happy that we stayed out this late". 

I have to cock an eyebrow up at this, I have to quirk and eyebrow up at this because oddly they sound like children now.

They don't sound adult anymore, they dont sound how they had been sounding just a few minutes ago.

Adrian is suddenly sounding like a child to me. I'm laughing maniacally at this.

"Then let's get going!!" I say standing up and carrying the boy with me.

"I can explain everything to them".
