Look Where You're Going

"You bitch, look where you're going"

"Excuse me, what did you just say?"

I didn't hear him clearly, so I asked for clarification.

He repeated, "You bitch, look where you're going!"

As he said this, both of them gave me a scary look.

I was frightened and about to apologize, but then a tall, handsome man appeared behind them.

I couldn't take my eyes off of him and ignored the two smaller guys.

They seemed confused and turned to look behind them, where they saw the tall man giving them a menacing look.

He said to them, "Is this the girl you bumped into? You should apologize to her before I put you both to sleep." The two guys were terrified of the tall man.

They apologized to me and he reminded them that if they ever touched me again, they would end up in the hospital.

They ran away.

He smiled at me and asked if I was okay.

But before I could answer, I wanted to thank him for helping me and asked for his name.

I introduced myself, "Um, I'm Venice. Nice to meet you."

He replied, "Venice? That's such a beautiful name.. I'm Aziel. Nice to meet you too."

While walking we talked about his life and I asked if Julia was really his sister. I'm good at making conversation, so I asked him a lot of questions and we talked as if we were close friends. I felt like we were getting closer this way.
