Audience with King

After resting for few hours, Shen and Vine finally decided to get up and meet the King, leaving the terrified chefs and staff behind.

"I think I went too hard on them, don't you think Vine?" Shen asked Vine, who still couldn't come out of yesterday's indirect kiss incident.

"Vine?" Shen said while jerking Vine, to bring her back from the world she was lost into.

"Yes?" Vine asked.

"Where are you lost?" Shen asked.

"Nothing." she replied.

"Alright. Now listen, we are approaching King's Throne Room, and our hosts must be expecting us." Shen said.

"I see." Vine replied.

"Are you nervous?" Shen asked.

"No." Vine said.

"Alright. Normal Titans are for you. Aberrant Titans, Humans and King is for me. Clear?" Shen said.

"You'll take on the whole fun?" Vine asked with a smirk.

"You can still watch my back Vine." Shen replied with a smirk.

They both readied themselves before entering the Throne Room. Vine checked her ODM Gear, while Shen cracked his knuckles.

"Lets go Cutie." Vine said, and grappled towards the ceiling to move ahead.

Shen smirked and jumped ahead.

The duo was on a killing spree. Vine was cutting the napes of the Titans like she was cutting the pieces of butter. And whenever someone tried to attack her from behind, Shen used to appear and protect her, by eliminating the threat.

"You fools! Can't you defeat two mere humans!?" the King screamed.

"Are you talking about Humans Kazan?" Shen asked.

The King went silent. Fear was visible on his face.

"You? What are you doing here? (To the Guards and Titans) Use every ounce of strength you all have and stop that bastard! Now!" King said.

"Tsk. You haven't changed. Not. One. Bit." Shen said. He took an Aberrant Titan and threw it on the King, who was saved by another Titan. This Titan jumped on Shen, who for some reason didn't move from his place.

The King started laughing. "This is what you get!" He exclaimed, when suddenly he felt a punch on his face. The King flew off out of the castle, thanks to the punch. All the other Titans started running after him, while humans stayed, with their legs shaking.

"With this, I rest this mission in Peace." Shen announced. Vine stood before him and started clapping.

"You! Bring forth the Mayor, the General, the Head of the Town and every great person around." Shen ordered one of the men of the King. Scared for his life, he ran away and everyone appeared before Shen under ten minutes.

"You all are late." Shen said with a stare, while sitting on the Throne.

"Sorry sir." The Mayor said.

"I'll deal with you later Reynard." Shen said, "Listen you all. In few days, Survey Corps will be arriving. By then, you will have to transfer the power to the public. Let them decide for themselves. Denial to do so would lead to consequences we all know. Clear!?"

"Yes sir." everyone replied in unison.

"This is Vine. She will tell you about the details. Listen to her." Shen said pointing towards Vine who just arrived after clearing the Titans of the Courtyard.

Everyone nodded and bowed to her.

"I have a matter to deal with so I'll be back in a minute." Shen said, and moved out of the hole of the castle.

On the other side, the King was running away with few remaining Titans.

"You can never catch me Shen. I will come back, more stronger, more wealthier, more-" King said until he was stopped by a similar Giant Ape creature.

"What?" King screamed.

The Ape opened its mouth and a beam came, destroying the heads of all the Titans around.

"Mercy! Show some Mercy!" the King screamed in fear.

The Ape took the King, crushed his head, while the King was screaming in pain.

A monocle thingy fell from the King's carcass, near the feet of the Ape. The Ape shrunk in size, taking the monocle, walking towards the castle.

"Tsk. Greed killed the bird." the man said and started running, vanishing in air.
