Acceptance

The Dark skinned guy was about to approach Shen when a man with wrinkly skin appeared before. He was in a white robe with a blue collar. On his robe he has a red colored kanji that means "God". He wore dark blue shoes as well.

"Kami Sama, these are the trespassers." the dark skinned guy said.

"Kami?" Shen asked in amazement.

"Yes Mr. Popo, they may be trespassers but they need help. Moreover, didn't you notice, the boy jumped so high, he reached here." Kami replied.

"You are right." Popo replied.

"Keep the boy here. Let me heal him." Kami said.

Shen followed and kept Daichi on the ground.

"The boy just passed out due to shock. Let him rest kid. No need to worry." Kami said.

Shen nodded.

"You can take him home." Kami said.

Shen picked up Daichi and jumped back.

"Why did you let him leave Kami Sama?" Popo asked.

"I can feel this boy is going to help the people of Earth very soon." Kami said.

Shen landed back on the Underground and tried to wake up Daichi. Daichi woke up. Shen was glad.

However, people around Shen was scared. They noticed how a Titan was dead outside, and how high jump Shen made. Moreover, later Shen got to know the friend who ran away spread rumors about Shen. The people around him started treating him coldly. Shen wasn't unaffected, but when they talked about Kuchel raising a monster like him, he was hurt. Slowly, he closed his heart to this and grew as the protector of the Underground.

Even though he saved people of Underground, they were ungrateful to him. Only Daichi stood by his side. Therefore, Shen started protecting the city for Daichi. In his free time, he tried to train to control his Oozaru form, and slowly, he mastered it. People still doesn't acknowledge his presence, and Shen is sure when he left Underground, people would be happy.

Present

Shen got reminded of his past and started growing sad.

"I'll send someone to pick her up." Shen said and took a step forward, when he felt his waist being grabbed by someone's arms. He looked back and saw Vine hugging him from behind, while hiding her face by digging it in his back.

"Where were you going without me?" Vine asked.

"I thought..." Shen was about to say something when Vine cut him off by saying, "Now that I know who you are, I feel a barrier is lifted. Now you can be more open to me. I may feel sad that I wasn't the first one to know it though." she smiled.

Looking her smile, Shen felt relieved.

"Babarot, we are in a hurry so we are sending you to a random planet on a random location. Grow there, train there, then destroy it for the Glory of us Saiyans." Shen remembered his father's words.

Next day, after meeting Hanji and bidding goodbye to Vine's friends, Shen and Vine left for the town outside the walls, prepared to fight together.
