A Reincarnator's Journey

David Valor, a normal sophomore student, dies in a cliche 'truck-kun' accident just to get sent to another world by the system! Using the 'true' system, he slowly rises to the top of the food chain before truly begining his adventure! (David may not be a "Good" Mc as I want to write it in a way of what I would do if I was in this situation myself. Of course there will also be some things different than what I think as well.) *** Note: I have no real plans for this story, it was made on a whim, so it may lose quality on the way, please read with caution! Schedule: I'm still in school so updates will also be somewhat slow, also, english is not my first language so please comment if I wrote something wrong! Thank you for reading!

Tutoring! (2)

**(In The Kitchen)**

As it was only around 11:05, the chefs were already getting set up for lunch, only to see the door open unexpectedly, seeing one of their young masters appear before them.

The chefs and other servants became even more shocked seeing their second young master, Bennett, following him like a puppy towards the kitchen.

"Hello everyone, I just wanted to know what we'll be having for lunch if you haven't started cooking yet." David's soft and calm voice snapped everyone out of their daze.

"A-ah! Young masters, we haven't made anything yet, is there anything you want to eat?" The head chef stuttered, not used to being so close to the masters of the household unless he was watching them eat in nervousness.

"No need to be nervous. Although we are merely being tutored for the next month, we would like foods that would best help with overall health nourishment. Will that be possible?" David asked in an extremely soothing voice, making everyone lose their guard towards him.

"That can certainly be done, young master! Is there any preference in the meat or sauce?" From David's personality and everyone's now lost guards, they became much more casual.

"I do not have any preferences, in fact, I hope you can surprise me." David smiled and looked at Bennett to see what he wanted.

"Ah! I'm fine as well... I'll just have what brother has." Bennett noticed and replied in somewhat of a daze.

"Understood, young masters!" Everyone smiled at their young master's trust towards them, giving them the motivation to give their best for this month.

"Mn. Thank you, then!" Although the servants didn't have much of any status, David still bowed nearly the entire 90-degrees, shocking everyone.

David then pulled Bennett out of the kitchen to do their own business, leaving everyone to snap out of their daze.

"What're you standing there for!? We gotta make'em the best meal possible! Everyone, go as planned!" The head chef shouted as they were planning to serve them some meal nourishments anyway. From that shout, everyone began to move with extreme excitement and vigor, obviously happy and nervous from their new young master's expectations.

**(In The Living Room)**

"Why'd you do that, bro?" Bennett questioned as they reached the living room.

"Do what?" He raised a brow.

"Talking to the chefs..." Bennett didn't really know what he was asking, so his tone became softer and softer, almost unheard.

With David's new and strengthened body, he could hear him clearly and said, "Why shouldn't I talk to the chefs, isn't it good to have a good relationship with everyone?"

"... Yeah, your right, I don't know what came over me." Bennett sighed to himself.

"It's most likely because of you spending your years as a noble. I could sense that you were avoiding them on purpose... Seems like you've been pampered quite a bit." David observed.

"Well... I am the second young master and the only one in the house, of course, mother and father would pamper me!" Bennett raised his chin pridefully.

"Oh? Then where was it those past few days then, hmmm?" He teased.

"I... they... hmph!" Bennett sat down and faced away from David.

"Alright, alright. I'll stop teasing you now. By the way, what happened in your lesson? I heard some screams from you, kinda scared me a bit." David asked curiously.

"... I-I just didn't like it, plus they're strict with it too..." Bennett pressed his index fingers together while blushing.

"... You're a 15, most likely almost 16-year-old 'adult' in this world now, don't act spoiled, even if you were for most of your life." David criticized him.

"Fine! I'll... listen to it." Bennett then proceeded to tell David about his past experiences with Mr. Cunningham.

A few hours later...

The two had already finished their lunch (Leave to your imagination) and were already preparing for their second lesson of the month.

They were even practicing some movements just to get everything down pat, well... that was mostly for Bennett since he was only a genius in the sword/battle, but quite bad at everything else.

David noticed his rigid movements and saw how he was extremely bad at 'acting', meaning his manners are nearly at the bottom of the barrel.

While they were practicing, David's alarm had sounded from the system, slightly surprising him as he quickly hid the small surprise on his face.

It was 3 pm now, nudging Bennett and telling him that time was up, he began to sweat and fidget.

Mr. Cunningham opened the door again with his servant behind him. The four greeted each other and paid respects to each other by bowing.

"Mn. I hope both of you have been practicing, we'll be having a small test today." Although Bennett did get the chance to kick up a fuss, he was quickly dragged away to a private room by his butler.

David looked at Bennett's dark and depressed face and clasped his hands together as if he was praying for him before following Mr. Cunningham into the study.

For the first thirty minutes, David was being tested on what he learned, bowing, basic dancing, greetings, etc.

There were some slight mistakes which had some points deducted from, but he got around 95% as his score was revealed by Mr. Cunningham, making David feel slightly arrogant about himself. What could he do about it? He's part dragon, with pride indefinitely running through his veins.

For the other two and a half hours, he had learned how to dance to different music, to interpret his own dance moves, there was some recap on the other things he learned, just on a more advanced level. For most of the time though was him learning the piano, which although he knew that for a noble at his ranking, he wouldn't need to, it wouldn't hurt to learn it anyways right?

For most of the lesson, it was quite easy for David, just some occasional mistakes and scolding from Mr. Cunningham, nothing he couldn't handle. For the music part, not including dancing, he did have a hard time as he had never played an instrument before.

For that, he got harshly scolded for, even if he wasn't used to all these intricate, delicate, and dexterous workout.

By the end of the lesson, his {Etiquette} skill had leveled up again and he even gained two new skills, {Music} and {Dancing} for his life skills. He even gained 4 dexterity, and 1 spirit for tempering his mind and fingers, giving him an even greater control on the more intricate parts of his body.

Although it didn't consume a large amount of his stamina, David felt that he was quite mentally tired and was even sweating a bit.

He looked to the side, only to see a sulking Bennett, which as usual, had a 'he lost his soul' vibe. David walked up to him to wake him up as it was disrespectful to not send them off together, he sighed seeing that he wasn't responding.

"Goodbye, teachers, I hope you have a nice evening!" David sent both the butler and Mr. Cunningham off with a deep bow, obviously showing his respect towards them, making them smile in approval.

Turning to Bennett, David sighed again as he dragged him to the dining table and threw him onto the seat, waking him from his stupor.

"Chop, chop, we have to eat dinner." David tapped his face.

"Huh? Oh, right. Sorry about that, hehe." Bennett immediately went back into character as if he didn't just go through a torturous event a few moments ago.

A few minutes later, dinner was brought to the table. As they just went through hours of tutoring, they had lobster, crabs, cham chowder soup, multiple arrays of vegetables, and multiple bowls of rice to top it off. For them, it was basically heaven, as the chefs were able to gather multiple different ingredients to make different types of food each time, watering their platte.

By the time they finished their 'feast', it was already 7 pm, which they both took their plates back to the kitchen, thanking the chefs before going back to Bennett's room to practice as it had the most furniture and space.

After a while, David was confident in remembering everything as he literally had a skill for that, so he went back to his room to review everything to make sure that he understood it.
