"You guys have anything to do after this... or...?" Bennett looked at the others.
Everyone knew that he was actually looking at Feil and Elizebeth. They're one of the princes and princesses of the country, no matter how young the prince is, they should have strict training to be strong, to rule over the country in the future if the need arises.
Princesses, however, don't have it easy either. They have to be taught how to be a lady... at least for the first three. The others... yes, they'll be taught all the same, but not as bad as the first three princesses, so they still have time for other hobbies they enjoy.
Even then, without the training, everyone in the castle needs studying, they need to at least be educated and updated with the latest information.
Feil understood the meaning of his words, "Don't worry, because my sister and I both made it to this academy, we're only going in the weekends."
"That's great! We can do this... maybe two more times before the school week is over?" David invited.
This time, David was talking about everyone.
They all looked at each other, letting Sam speak, "Then let's fight as a whole group next time then."
After that, everyone had left, going back to their own dorms.
Bennett laid on the bed, fatigued, "Ahh... finally a bed..."
"Dude. It was one night... we did this back at home too..." David said.
Bennett continued hugging the pillow with a slight pout, "I know... but still... I like soft beds..."
David settled his satchel on the side, "So... I need to ask you something." He sat on his bed.
"Ask away." Bennett turned to face him, still hugging his pillow.
"Has the system given you any quests... reminders... anything?" David asked.
Bennett didn't have any reaction. He swiped in the air, looking at something.
"Well... nope, I don't have anything, to be honest. I think it's because I have a sub-system and not a main... or true system." He shrugged.
David placed a finger on his chin, he knew that Bennett was connected to him, but he should at least have his own separate set of events, right?
Even if it was an incomplete... or sub-system, they should have given him some sort of privileges, right?
*Ding~*
As he was thinking, he could see a small blue panel, explaining why.
[Answering the Host's Question: The User: Bennett has not reached the fourth rank to unlock functions that would be originally available to true system hosts. It is not because he and the other users have an incomplete system, but they merely have not proven themselves to receive those functions.]
It wasn't just him, even Bennett could see it appear in front of him as well.
"Eh? Rank four... that'll take some time..." He muttered.
Both of them had already reached rank three, and the amount of experience had started to finally start to become exponential.
David had already started to experiment with the sandworms, which he did tell him the progress of his own experience bar only moving up a decent portion, about 20%. He did kill around a hundred of them after all.
"Definitely, but we've got plenty of time... I think." David rubbed his chin.
"Oh, right! Since we can't level up that fast, then how about we work our skills up? At the very least, we'll still be growing our foundation and strength." Bennett sat up, letting go of the pillow.
David took off his blazer, placing it on a hanger in the closet, "Sure, we can do that after class tomorrow... are you still rusty... or...?"
Bennett had a hand on his chest, leaning back as if he was offended, "Of course, I'm very adaptable to resharpening my blade skill, thank you very much."
David smirked, "Sure... by the way, is there any sub-occupation that interested you yet? For the first week of school, I'm pretty sure we'll be talking about this tomorrow or Friday."
"I... huh... I don't."
Bennett then took out his handbook and started skimming through it again.
"Soo... there are a few classes we are going to take tomorrow... it's mostly for introduction's sake, but it seems like it'll take the entire school day."
"Really? What'd they got?" David loomed over his shoulder.
"D-dude, you have your own handbook." He turned to David.
"It's fine... let me be lazy for once. I have to wake you up for the past month for training, you know?"
Bennett twitched. He was right... and it seemed reasonable, yet, he felt like he was being insulted at the same time.
"Ooooo~ They have alchemy, blacksmithing, and all sorts of other electives." David interrupted his thoughts.
The handbook was enchanted by magic, and it was naturally thick due to its mostly empty pages. As the year would go on, the handbook would update itself so everyone would be on the same page, reading the same amount of information.
For this week, they slowly update the schedule for the rest of the year, events, sub-occupation classes, the basic stuff you're supposed to know for the year.
"There are quite a few options, don't you say?" David pointed to the subcategories.
Bennett waved for him to get off his shoulder, "Alright, alright. We can just skim this and talk about it tomorrow in class."
The two continued to joke with each other as the sky gradually dimmed.
They were eating dinner in the same place they met Feil and the others today, enjoying a lavish feast that could make anyone drool just by seeing it.
