A Reincarnator's Journey

David Valor, a normal sophomore student, dies in a cliche 'truck-kun' accident just to get sent to another world by the system! Using the 'true' system, he slowly rises to the top of the food chain before truly begining his adventure! (David may not be a "Good" Mc as I want to write it in a way of what I would do if I was in this situation myself. Of course there will also be some things different than what I think as well.) *** Note: I have no real plans for this story, it was made on a whim, so it may lose quality on the way, please read with caution! Schedule: I'm still in school so updates will also be somewhat slow, also, english is not my first language so please comment if I wrote something wrong! Thank you for reading!

A Short Spar

David and Feil were both teleported to the same containment room, on the opposite edge of each other, there was just a sword in front of them.

"Sword fight!" David could hear Feil's voice from the other side and even saw him excitedly wave his sword in the air.

'Prince my ass... I would've believed you if you said you were a commoner, acting like that.' David's lips twitched.

He noticed that Feil had already readied up, so he complied with his fate and also readied up.

Begin!

Feil had immediately disappeared from his spot, without a single trace of a magic circle anywhere near him.

*Ching~*

'A chantless spell and teleportation magic... as expected of a prince.' David turned around and drew his sword, blocking Feil's strike.

'He was able to predict where I was?' Feil was inwardly shocked, but quickly regained his calm and backed away.

While Feil was staring at him with utmost concentration, David's mind was on something completely different.

'Hm... I used the sword quite a bit, but I've never gotten any swordsman genius title. Especially after the evolution, I only got a battle mage... maybe... it's trying to tell me to practice using the staff?' David's outside expression never changed, forcing some pressure on Feil.

David snapped out of his thoughts, "Didn't you say you were going to fight me? Why are you just standing there?" he squinted.

Feil furrowed his brows at the same time, but did not attack, "Just looking for an opportunity..."

David wanted to use one of his earth spells, but too bad... it didn't affect the concreate-like ground.

*Whoosh~*

Feil disappeared again, multiple times actually.

*Ching~ Ching~ Ching~*

David was always on the defensive, easily blocking and parrying Feil's attack as though it was a small child who was play fighting with an adult.

'Does he not have any other spells?' David thought to himself. Feil hasn't used any type of magic except for teleportation.

'Is he really so weak? I expected him to be stronger... let's see.' David quickly kicked him away and used all of the force on his legs to launch himself towards the flying Feil.

*Shing~*

Feil wasn't able to react at all, but what he did feel was something was taken from him.

He quickly swung his arm... only to find out that it wasn't there. It wasn't bleeding, but there was a small light surrounding the arm as if to censor it.

Feil looked at his severed arm in shock, he hadn't seen much gore in his life, though he could've been fine... except for the part where he could feel the pain.

"ARGGGHHH!" Feil smashed his left hand onto the ground in pain.

'Fuck... forgot about the pain setting didn't he?' David closed his eyes awkwardly.

Feil was shaking... but seemed like he was quickly getting used to the pain. David could clearly see the effort he was using to not pass out from the pain, with his gritting teeth, deep frown, and furrowed eyebrows, staring at him.

"Come on! I can take it!" Feil yelled, holding what's left of his right arm.

David decided to relieve him of his pain, nodded, and charged full speed ahead.

*Woosh~ Shing~*

The only thing Feil had seen was that David had disappeared, but that was also the last thing he saw before his body split into two pieces.

"My god! That's brutal..." The three brothers looked at the screen in disbelief.

'Strong... I couldn't see his movements at all.' Sam squinted slightly.

They saw that David had walked out from the door back to the lobby. (1)

A few seconds later a sulking Feil had followed behind him.

"You... you didn't have to be so cruel... could've just done that the first time instead of cutting my arm off." Feil stared at his right arm uncomfortably.

"And you took that extremely well for a royal. Plus, might as well get used to the pain when you graduate and have to fight for the country, right?" David wryly smiled. He did feel a bit guilty for what he did.

Seeing that they were both out, the three brothers crowded them.

"David! Where did you train to get so strong?" Robert asked.

"Well... I was uhh... in the wilderness for quite a while before my brother, Bennett Vale picked me up and introduced me to the Vales... so basically, I learned it on the way...?" David smiled.

'What the hell did you experience in the wild then!?' everyone thought at the same time.

David looked at Feil, "By the way... why weren't you using any other type of magic except for short teleportation spells?" David wanted to say more... but he didn't want to put any pressure on Feil.

"Mn... that's why I'm not one of the princes worthy of the throne. Teleportation takes up a large amount of mana, and it's the only element I can decently control." He sighed.

"But... don't some people have certain affinities from what their hair or eye color is like? Since you had a green eye color... I thought you could use wind or something at the very least." David looked at Feil curiously.

"A... ha... ehehe... that part... yeah. I'm not too talented in that area for some reason so I've never tried it." Feil admitted.

'Well, that's dumb... did they not teach him right due to certain traditions or something?' David stared at Feil.

David looked at the time and slightly panicked, "Sorry guys, it seems like I've got to go wake up my roommate. See you... soon?" he waved.

He left so quickly that no one had the chance to even react yet.

"Dang it! I wanted him to give me some suggestions too!" Feil sighed.

"You can ask him later... we're in the same class..." Sam reminded.

"You're right! You guys already have your advice so you shouldn't mind that I'm going to leave right?" Feil asked.

"Right, sir." they replied.

"Welp time to go then! Follow me Sam!" Feil dragged Sam out of the lobby, leaving the three brothers there alone.

They looked at each other.

"Seems like it's time to get breakfast... who's paying this time?" Jack looked at the two.

"Him!" Robert and Gil both pointed to each other.

"Pfft. We'll talk about it once we get there. Let's go." Jack smiled at his brothers, leaving with them.

Chapter 80 End...

(1): In the virtual training arena, the lobby can either bring you back in a small pillar of light or just a door... not really anything important, but I thought that I might as well explain it.
