Colour me impressed

After finding the umbrellas that were dropped, everyone returned to the van.

Frad was already in the driver's seat, waiting for them. Dav sat at the front row, beside the driver's seat. While Reginald sat at the middle row, nearer to the window beside Kinsei, with Dealla sitting beside him and Sezia taking the other end.

"I'm not sitting anywhere near those two." He pointed at Otta and River who was seated in the back row along with Kate.

"Fair point." The two nodded.

"Alright, let's hope there's a town nearby so we don't have to eat our supplies." Dav said, as he buckled up his seatbelt, "Buckle up too!"

"Why now?.." The students grumbled in annoyance, as they buckled up.

The van started moving, and Dav made all the string he set lose its effect.

As they started driving, River asked, "What are we even going to Duerrin for? If the city needs us more than ever.."

"You can barely protect yourself." Sezia answered, "I'm going to train everyone to their full potential, and Duerrin has the facilities for it."

"Can't Otta help?" River asked, as Otta hit his leg, "Come on, your so smart, you should be able to help. Right?"

"I don't have the tools required for it now." Otta replied, as she glanced out the window.

"If you have, are you able to?" Sezia asked, looking at the rear mirror.

"If I have the blueprint, I'm eighty percent confident." Otta glanced at the mirror, meeting Seiza's gaze.

Seiza broke the gaze and stared out the window, silence soon followed.

Kinsei looked at the radio function at the van, "Are we able to play music?"

"Only music that had been downloaded beforehand." Otta replied, glancing back down at her laptop, "Any request? You can try your luck."

The students started thinking about it. While they were thinking, Kate took out the paper from her pocket. She slowly opened it, and started studying what was written.

"I know!" River whispered his request into Otta's ear, as she contacted her laptop to the van sound system.

"It better not be baby shark or I will throw you out." Reginald quickly said as he turned his body as much as the seatbelt allowed, "I've had enough of that song from my neighbour." He raised his fist, as River chuckled.

"I will throw them out too if it's played." He crossed his arms, "I got standards, okay sir?"

When the first beat dropped, Reginald's eyes widened.

"You're never gonna make it, you're not good enough!" Both of them started following along with the lyrics, as Dav quickly lowered down the volume.

'This song sounds familiar..' Kinsei thought.

The silent ride slowly became a karaoke session.

"I don't give a damn if you say you disapprove! I'm gonna make my move!" Kinsei joined as he recalled the lyrics, while everyone was just vibing along.

When the song ended, Dealla raised her hand, "My turn next!" Dealla said, as she said out her request.

"Oh! This song quite good!" River said when the music played.

"I hate this song.." Otta mumbled, as River nodded.

"Indeed indeed, it isn't that good." He changed ships.

"Traitor!" Kinsei pointed at the rear mirror, "For a woman you dare change ship?"

"For a woman anything is possible!" River crossed his arm and lifted his chin, as Otta moved towards the corner in embarrassment.

"Even sacrificing your life oh dear knight?" Kinsei pinched his chin and raised a brow.

"I will sacrifice the world if I so have to commander!" River voice turned deep, "Anything is possible!"

"Oh you won't sacrifice yourself? Not going to be the selfless hero? Hmm?"

River began thinking of a reply, "Eh.. eh.."

"Ohohoho! Tongue got taken by a cat eh?" Kinsei smirked.

"If one were to sacrifice themselves for their lover, their lover won't be happy. And that will be the last thing they wish for, no?" Reginald aided River, "So for love, they ought to be selfish!" His fist clutched and he pumped it up, "Selfish I say! To spend time with thy lover till the world falls around them!"

"A brilliant speech my lord!" River clapped, "Bravo bravo! I agree it with my whole heart! I shall be selfish for love!"

"But what if that goes against thy lover's wishes?" Dealla asked, "What if your lover doesn't approve of your action?"

"Indeed indeed," Kinsei grabbed onto the floating log his way, "What would happen if you are a hero of the light and thy lover is the zero of the dark? Hm? Answer me! O the great Lord." Kinsei smirked, as Reginald gritted his teeth.

"Speechless are we?" Dealla added, giving a high five to kinsei.

River snapped his fingers, "Then I suppose, we ought to find a middle ground, for love is more powerful than any dreams!" He clenched his fist, "Who doesn't dream of having the love of your life by your side? Both of you can put away any desires and go forth finding a new dream," He bowed from his seat, "As one."

As he finished his speech, the music ended.

"Next request?" Otta asked, a small smile on her face as she watched their interactions, as they requested their songs.

"I say we lis-." Dealla covered Kinsei's mouth, as he waved his arm while still mumbling.

"Look!" She pointed in front, as the students all glanced up at the van front window.

"Town!" They exclaimed in excitement.

"We can now get some food!" River was almost jumping out of his seat, "I've been hungry since yesterday!"

"You didn't eat dinner?" Otta asked as she closed her laptop, sitting up straight.

"I thought meals was provided." He chuckled in embarrassment.

"Meals are provided," Sezia corrected, "Everytime it snows."

The students all stared blankly at her, as she avoided their gaze by looking out the window.

"I will stay in the van." Frad said, but Otta shook her head.

"No need! Those without their fingerprint registered will get a shock of their life!" She smirked.

"Why does your smirk look like the devils?" Dealla pointed out while she unbuckled her seatbelt.

Otta shrugged, and placed her laptop in her bag, "Let's go, I need to pee.." She opened the van door and hopped down.

"Let's go."
