Chapter 93

They were all struck dumb for a moment, recording what just happened a minute ago still wreck in their heads. Did Mr Lim just defend a low life model? A girl who haven't cross into the line yet. They shifts their heads at Rosary and stared at her astounded.

What about this girl that draws everyone attention towards her just by a look on her. What so special about her? They wondered but no one dare to say a word out. Since Mr Lim can do this to their fellow colleagues that means he might do more if anyone speak bad about Rosary.

Everyone have their suspicious about what must have happened between the two. Why did Mr Lim stands for her? Did she have a relationship with the CEO in secret? Different thoughts runs through theirs mind and keep their thoughts to themselves since no one wants the wrath of the devil on them.

Rosary stood there dumbfounded and sick to what just happened. She can't even process it or thinks about it. What just happened? She asked herself, staring at the back features of the man walking away into an elevator. He just stood for her! But why? What's his intentions to do that! Now everyone might get the wrong intention towards her.

She turned around, immediately all shift their gazes away from her. Acted like nothing even happen in the first place.

Adam was astounded but he never shows it out. He was still doubting there might be a relationship between the two. But come to thinks of it. What if Steve said to him that happened that day on the corridor was true. Does Mr Lim have an eye on the girl? He thought maybe it was just for business but what he did in his presence a moment ago, gotten him stuck to the floor. Does the beast have a heart?

Rosary can tell everyone have a dreadful words on her even though they never wanted to say it out. She suspect through the looks on their faces. These what she afraid of, getting the wrong impression.

"Mr Adam, what just happened is not what you think. I just don't..." Rosary said, breaks the awkward silence that have been staying in the lounge for a while now.

"You don't need to explain yourself Rosary. I understand. I know you have no idea what just happened. It alright. We don't have to think about that. " Adam cut her short. She really wants to explain herself out for everyone to get the right idea about her. This is never her plans to dislodge anyone. She had never wish for any of these, if only Adam would have given her the chance to explain herself clearly to everyone understanding. She would have been satisfied.

"Let forget what just happened and get back to work. Y'all heard the big boss. We just have minutes to appear in the meeting room" Adam announced to get everyone mind out of the attention of Rosary as some gazed at her secretly with dreadful looks.

"C'mon on Rosary, we have to go too" Ava clenched on Rosary hand, pulling her out of her thoughts. Her mind wasn't settled yet. She believes everyone must be thinking of her as a dirty slut or something worse than that. No matter what the amount of thoughts she put in to resolve their minds, would change a thing. The damage have already been done.

Ava on the other never put more thoughts in it or even thinks of something dirty. She just believe Rosary must have found favor in the sight of Mr Lim and nothing more.

"Alright, let go" Rosary followed Ava hand to hand along with the others.

Meanwhile, at the side of the lounge, Tiana have keep all her ears listening and her eyes watching. She just arrived at the hotel a moment ago. Looking for Mr Lim when one of the workers told her, h e was in the lounge attending to models. She felt extremely happy when that news was passed to her. She just can't believe Lim can be this caring and understanding man. Lim have never showered her with care and love like vthis before. This new Lim, she loved him more than ever. Who would have thought, the man who was heartless to her and never seen her as important piece in his life now caring for her. Not just caring for her but also her career and dreams! She blushed on the thoughts running in her head.

She can't tell what changed the beast man attitude but she appreciates whatsoever must have happen to change his ways toward her these past few days.

"Alright" she said to the guard man smiling and make her way to the lounge. Just arriving there, she saw a commotion going on between the girls. She surprised and wonder what must have cause this rages. Just then, she was about to take a step.

Lim comes in with his subordinates. Approaching like a god in form of man. He was so charming and captivating in his looks. She couldn't make a step and stay back to adore the man of her dream.

He'd know how to dressed up for every occasion. All dress always look good on him. Where in earth did his mother bought him from. She wonder, blushing in her fantasy when suddenly the table turns around.

The excitement that have fill her face and the many butterflies flying in her belly all disappear just by the presence of that girl. She saw it all, how he dislodge the girls that insults Rosary, go he mentioned he was the one who instructed the receptionist to set a separate room for the girl. But why? Is he really going to have fun with the girl? She thought maybe that day he was joking. Not in her dream have she thought he would take this far.

No Lim can't replace her with a low life girl who wasn't even up to her level. She gritted her teeth as jealous washed through her. How can her man fall for someone else?

No that can't happen. She will make sure she is the only one in his life and no other.

Lilah was frustrated, the kissing Mr Charles gave to her was still in her head ringing. Why can't she just get over this emotions that was eating her up. What so special about the kiss that's it keep on playing on her head.

After what her half brother almost did to her, by taking assault of her While she was sleeping. She should have known better that brother of hers was more than a scorpions. The son of a gun have the guts to have her even in her own father house! The worst part, the bastard was denying it at her face!

She felt like a idiot who just make up a lie in front of her father. Just because she have never like the bastard and his mother since the day they move into the house. Yes, she never like him and his mother but that wouldn't make her to step too low trying to pull herself on him! She remember she tried to explain herself that day but Mr Williams never gives in any of her explanation all because she was a girl and he have found a heir to his company who is a boy! The fucking half brother of hers.

She just wish that bastard of a father will died and leave her life for good. But no, instead her mother was the who died all because of the bastard she have as a father!

Still in the thought of Charles lips against hers. Her phone dipped, pulling her out of her thoughts.

She looked at the caller ID it was Steve.

"Steve? Why is he calling?" She asked before plunge the phone against her ear.

"Hello Lilah" Steve said on the other side of the line.

"Hello" she replied, tried to sound flames but the thought of Charles kissing her haven't wipe off completely. She was accomplished lost in the kiss. What happening to you Lilah! Wale up and stop dreaming! She scolded herself inwardly.

"Lilah? Are you there?" Steve asked when he didn't get her usual reply.

"Y-yes I'm fine. What about Rosary and Jack?" She asked quicken trying to suppress the new feeling that was raising inside of her..

"Well, that the reason I called. Have she told you already?"

"Told me what? I tried calling her back several times when I didn't pick her calls. But she was unable to pick. Maybe she was busy" she suggested.

"Yeah, she is. I... I am coming back to the state" Steve suddenly confess. Go straight to the point the mian reason he called.

"Coming back to the state! But why? Did your father call you ?"

" Hmm, no just a decision I have made since Rosary is... Is" he swallowed, wipe off the swaet forming on his forehead.

" Rosary is what? C'mon on Steve. I don't have time to for games. If you want to tell me anything. Just do bit now okay"

" Y-y-yes. I just want to tell you that Rosary is back in the state! " He quickly said.

Lilah struck dumb for a minute. What the fuck he just said! She chuckle. Oh Steve, trying to play games with me? That's not funny.

"Please Steve, break out of your games. I don't have times for it"

Steve sighed. He knows Lilah would never agreed to this. But the decision never comes from him. What else can he do?

"I'm saying the truth Lilah, she went back to the state to attend a show since she just get approved in my modeling company"

"And you fucking allow that to happen! Are you insane? Didn't I told you everything that happened. Rose does not have to leave Canada no matter what! She can flight to other countries but not back in the state! Hee life will be in danger Steve"

Lilah, you're always hard to deal with. He sighed again. Take in a deep breath before speaking.

"Lilah, we can't forever shut the girl from her dreams. First, you lied to her about your true self and now you want her to leave her dream behind. C'mon on Lilah, that's too harsh. If Rosary find out about your true identity and mine. She will never forgiven us. Lilah tried to understand, she need to be there. And besides, this unknown Mr X never sent to be in existence. He have never show up his face since their last encounter. I thinks the girl have every right to be happy. "

" Oh my goodness! You never understand! " Lilah roll her eyes. Must she have to explain to tus plate head before he gets what she meant! Mr X have his eyes on her through Charles. If she make any moves, Charles will surely know about it. And the worse path, she wonder how he always get his information about her.

"Mr X have his eyes on me through some handsome bastard!" She snapped, splitting out the forbidden fruit.

"What? Mr X have his eyes on you? And who is this handsome bastard?"

She flipped her hand over her mouth when she just realized she even compliment Charles in the process! The kiss must have a great effect on her.

" No that's not what I meant. I'm just thinking we don't know if this Mr X have his eyes on us watching our evry moves. " She quickly explained.

" C'mon on Lily, you don't have to worry. I'm going back to the state to watch over her. Okay. Just set your mind I peace. We have to support Rosary in every decision she made. That's what friends are for"

Lilah sighed. She just hope this never put Rosary in the hands of this unknown man that no one knows about. She really wants Rosary to be happy. Follow her dream and passion. If this what Rosary want, she had no choice but to accept her friend decision to support her.

" Alright but what about Jack. He will be the only all alone in the house"

" You don't have worry he have Old April and the maids around him. Besides, we haven't going to stayed that long. Do you want to talk to him? " Steve asked, who glanced at the boy behind him with puppy watery eyes.

Lilah nods " alright take it to him"

Steve obediently handle the phone to Jack.

" Hello Aunty Lilah" his tiny sharp voice said.

Lilah smiled, it has been a while she last heard from the little boy. She'd missed him so much.

" Hello my boy. How are you doing. Do you miss me?"

" Of course I do. I miss you so much. This house is going to be lonely for me now."

" Why but you have Old April and the maids around you"

" Yes I know. But Rosary have left to business trip and also with Steve who wants to leave me too."

" Don't worry my boy. I promise to visit and spend the days with you while they are gone"

" Really? " Jack asked excitedly.

" Of course. Anything for my favorite boy in the world!'

"I love you so much Aunty Lilah! I will being expecting you soon bye" hehung up the call happily and handle it back to Steve.

"You can leave now. Aunty Lilah will be coming soon to spend the days with me! " Frantically, he runs to the stairs leading to his room. Steve smiled at the boy little behavior. Was Jack trying to tell him, he didn't need him again? What a boy child.

He looked at his phone, the call has already ended. He smiled again thinking about meeting Rosary. He doesn't understand while he felt so happy to meet her again. But he embrace these new feeling.

"Are you done?" He asked his bodyguard who was packing his luggages into the car boot.

"Already done sir!" The man saluted.

"Good, give my father a call. Tell him I'm coming back home from my trip"

"Alright sir!" The man bought out his phone and immediately makes a call. Steve shift his gaze to Old April and the maids who line up to wish their Boss a farewell flight back home.

"Please take good care of Jack. Make sure he have anything he wants before Lilah comes to visit. "

"Alright young master. We promise to follow your word. " The old man assured him. Since Rosary is not around, they can secretly call him young master.

Steve nods and head into the car which one of his men have opened the car door.

When the first man done making his call. He entered and the car drove into the street.

Note from writer..

I have announcement to make. It wasn't easy for any writers in this app for the past few days. The app network isn't working well which makes it difficult for updating new chapters. I can't even login into my other chapters. If you notice I repeated chapter number almost twice now. This is a general problem for us  writers in this app.  It hardly to update. We have to keep trying until the app finally works. if it didn't work we have to left that day. It not my fault, just the problem bwe facing in this app. If you think I'm lying, you can ask other writers.
