Chapter 104 The old man prank

"Your father is dying!" Mr May scream from the other side of the line.

" What? " Lim replied

" Young master please come quickly. Your father needs you please! "

Lim sighed, this must be one of his father's prank to make he come back home. " Alright, I will be here" he said and end the call.

As soon the call hung up, Mr May turn to the side of Old Walter on the bed, laying comfortably with rich blanket wrapped on him

" What did he say? " He asked curiously.

Mr May smiled and reply. " Sir, your son is coming home"

" You see, I told you that would work on him. He can be stubborn but I am still his father. He would have no choice but to ran home quickly like a mouse chased by cat! " Old Walter said and laughed. Mr May joined inhim in the laughter and late stop when something come across his mind.

What if the boy truely comes, what type of sickness would them lied to him?

" But milord, what are we going to tell him as soon he arrives? "

Immediately Old Walter laughter died off. He haven't even thought about that yet! Of goodness.

" Hmm, don't worry. When he comes we will thought of that. Now, go and tell the cooks to make something delicious. My son is coming home to have lunch with me! Now go! " Old Walter commanded.

Mr May didn't waste a second. He was happy that his Master was happy. The boy was the happiness of the old man but that stubborn boy have never comes to realise it!. He just hope soon day the boy would fully accepted the old man love and understand the pain the Old man is going through because of his ignorance.

He spear a last glance at the happy old man who seem excited because his son was coming home. Mr May just pray that a day would come that the boy was going to let go of his grudge against his father.

Lim didn't waste a time as he grabs on the keys og his luxurious car. He slaps his finger, suddenly a man in his fourties appears in front of him.

"I'm leaving but I would be back soon. Make sure when my woman wakes up, she treated well like a princess. There should be no starch on her skin Understand! " His voice sounds authoritatively, that send shivers down to the old man bone. Now that the master have come things are going to be strict and straight forward. And the worst path, he didn't come back home alone but bought a woman for the first time have the master bought in a woman!.

" Yes young master. I will do just that" the Butler said and bowed.

Lim looked up the stairs of the lounge, a mischievous smile washed nonhis lips, he just can't wait to have his hands on his woman. Finally the gorgeous pearl have entered his trap just what he wanted.

In the ancient fascinating mansion of the Walters, Old Walter and Mr May have practice a lot of on how to buy the show.

"Master, you need to look more like a sick man" Mr May suggest. " But I am trying my best. Do you think it's easy for a old man like me to put on a show?" He snapped a annoying looks at the Butler. Mr May has told him to to repeat the act multiple of times now.

And he still get it wrong!

"I know you upset but just this one time and I promise you would get it right. Remember you have to be professional to get the young master to believe you are ill, don't you?"

"Yes of course! " Old Walter snapped hurriedly. " I want my boy to be here. If not why will I being trying theis silly thing with you"

Mr May blinks, Old Walter was the hardest man to please! He was sthe one who wanted his boy back and now? He was also the one complaining at the end!

"Hmm" Mr May sighed. There never a different between the boy and his father, some of the boy bad attitude was taken from his father!

Just that moment, Mr May heard the sound of a car driving into the compound. Immediately, he hurry to looked at the window.

"Master, I thinks young master have arrived"

"What! C'mon on let get into act! "

In the massive lounge of the Walter family house, the door of the house was opened by the security guards who submit their heads down to the ground as the pair of straight legs walks in sliently. 

His devilish blue eyes sweep around the room, and sighed. 

"Where is that old man?" He asked himself. 

"Young master!" A voice called. He looks up and saw it was no one but Mr May. The old man companion in his silly games. 

"Where is Old Walter?" Lim inquired. His face was emotionless and show nothing but coldness. 

"You mean to say your father, he is in his room waiting for you young master" Mr May said with more concerned to make sure his face shows worries but the boy was more smarter than that. 

He knows what his father was planning yet he choose to play along the old man games.. 

"Please come young master. He is waiting for you" 

Lim narrowed his eyes at the old man on the staircase. " I thought you say he is dying. Why on earth is her waiting for me before he died" 

Oh my God, must this boy be over smart? Must he thinks too much about everything? Mr May wonder before he compose himself to look more worried.

"What are you saying young master? Please come up now the master needs you!" Mr May said worriedly. 

Lim roll his eyes, sure the man is just as annoying as his master. The two do deserve each other..

"Alright, whatever." 

He obediently climb the stairs up to the Old Walter room with the led of Mr May. 

Just when the door slammed open, old Walter played to be on his best. As he laid on the bed like a restless man dying slow . 

He raised his head slowly up as soon he heard the sound of the door. Lim strode in behind him was Mr May..

"Oh my son, you came. I never thought you can make it..." He paused and cough sickly. 

Instantly, Mr May rushed to him.. "oh my dear master please take it easily. The boy is here" 

Lim who saw this act, roll his eyes. His father was such a drama man that would make it quickly in the entertainment industry if he goes on to apply to be a actor instead of a business man. 

"Please take a glass of water" Mr May said and handle the glass of water to Old Walter. He took the glass of water with shakingly hand.

"Oh thank you" he take a sip from it and handle it back to Mr May. 

"Really? Are you going to go on with this?" Lim asked coldly. He was really getting irritating with his father behavior. What the reason he even call him here instead to put on a show. 

"What are you saying my son? Can't you see I am dying?" Old Walter snapped. 

"Dying? But to me, you send like you just acting. I can tell you. You're sure a good actor on this" Lim said and make himself sit on one of the fancy couch in the room.. 

"Tell me why you call and please go straight to the point" 

Old Walter look at the Butler close to him, giving him a look that the lie didn't works. 

" But.. young master, how can you say that? Your father is really in a bad state now. All he needs is your care and love" Mr May tried to explained clearly to the boy. 

" Oh I see. But I remember I am not the only child he had and also I am not a doctor. I thought the family doctor would have been here as soon he heard old Walter was sick. But why isn't he here? " Lim asked giving his father and his companion a questionable looks. 

When Old Walter seen the boy was way too smart to be deceive into their acting. He give up. " Alright you got me. I am just acting but I am happy you are here" 

"Why I am here?" Lim asked sternly. Old Walter heart felt broken but he tried to put up a smile. He knows the boy still hate him till this days..

"I want to know when you are getting married?" Old Walter asked curiously. He haven't forgotten about the what the boy say last time the whole family gathered. He was so excited and happy to hear the boy mention marriage! As far he knew, the man haven't been spot with any woman before. But since that day he had mentioned an unknown girl, it's makes the Old man felt more alive. What Old Walter want for his son o get married and live happily. He really wants to seen Lim smile, the boy have never smiled yo him before after the death of his mother which he blames on himself..

"Really?" Lim asked shockingly, he wasn't expecting that. He thought maybe the old man might have call for business but no, he called for another reason! 

"Yes, when are you introducing the precious diamond of yours to me your father?"
