I feel like a young master, faceslapping enemies

After their introduction, Blake led the girls have a conversation as he went to check on the kids. After he left Ann and Amy told the others of their little mishap in the market and all of them had fond smiles when they heard of Blake's actions, Irene then decided to ask what they were doing in the capital as it was quite odd seeing all these women and children following one young man. After her question the mood of the dropped quite a bit and realising her blunder she immediately apologised, but the women decided to tell their story anyway.

After hearing their story, she had tears in her eyes as she felt responsible for not even hearing of such tragedies inside her own kingdom and was extremely angry when she heard it was done by Rustmore. She needed to quickly go back and warn her father as well as to make that two faced Rung suffer for this act of betrayal.

She told the women that she would talk to the king, the women told her that Blake was also original on his way to meet the king before he met them and that it was the reason for their arrival at the capital. She was surprised and thought that Blake might be a mage or soldier for his father and decided to accompany him to see the king. Making her decision she madd her way to the children's room and found Blake sitting on the floor as he told the children stories as they laid on him or climbed on him and sitting on his lap. Irene was amazed at how good he was with children and thought that he was totally different from the person who threatened a noble hours prior.

Blake had already sensed her presence and looked towards her and asked if she needed something. Irene hesitated but ultimately decided to ask to speak to him i private. After agreeing, they went to another room and sit across each other.

"Are you a mage from a guild or a soldier, why do you want to meet the king and also earlier today you seemed to recognise me", She decided to ask directly. Blake was surprised with how observant she was but considering who she was, it was to be expected. "I am indeed a mage but I don't have a guild and i am sorry but no i am not a soldier. As for wanting to meet the king, it is to deliver a letter. Does that satisfy your questions your highness", Blake said with a smile at the end.

"So you do know who i am, well will talk about that later, if you truly found proff of Rustmore's plans than please allow me to accompany you to my father so we may expose their fangs", She said not bothered by his knowledge of her true identity. Hearing her words Blake thought she really cared for her people and what a scumbag one had to be to turn her into what she became in the story.

"Ok, lets leave now, i was planning on going there tomorrow but this is fine too", he shrugged and they both went out after Blake told the women and children where he was going amd warning them to stay low for now.

After a fee minutes of walking they were infront of the palace gates and when the guards stopped them, Irene was about to undo her cloak to announce who she was but stopped when she saw Blake take out something from his pocket. After seeing the medallion the guards were surprised but nonetheless allowed them entry. Irene was quite curious as to what medallion it was as she couldn't see the front from her position but felt that it looked kind of familiar.

They were escorted by a maid and led to the door leading inside the Royal courtroom. After notifying the reason for their audience, one of the guards went in to notify the king while the other guard asked them to stay before they were called in.

~King Edmund II POV~

As the ministers were giving their various reports i saw a guard approaching me and knelt in front of me as he announced, "My king, there is a stanger outside that requests your audience, he says it is of utmost importance", I was surprised and confused as who this stanger would be to ask for audience without even clarifying who he was, but considering they let him into the palace he must be of some standing. While i was thinking, Duvalin my minister of finance asked the guard, "Does this stranger have any identification as to who he might be?", he had asked what was on my mind. As i looked to the guard he seemed unsure of how to answer but answered nonetheless, "He did not give me any sort of who he was your majesty, but he was escorted by the princess", hearing that i was even more confused as who could it be that my daughter personally escorted him, so i decided to see for myself, "Very well, let him enter", i gave the order and the doors slowly opened to reveal a tall young man followed by my daughter.

As the doors opened Blake entered the courtroom followed by Irene as they were immediately the centre of attention, after arriving at the foot of the throne they both bowed and greeted the king, "You majesty". The nobles and ministers as well as Irene was quite shocked by Blake bowing instead of kneeling, as it was customary for those without titles to kneel infront of the king. But the king didn't seem to mind and simply went on as nothing happened,"Who might you be and what news do you carry for such urgency?", he asked.

Blake looked around the courtroom and found who he was looking for, Rung, as the latter was looking his way curiously. Seeing the bastard, Blake had a small smirk as he met the kings eyes and said, "Your majesty, i come bringing news of a raid of a village by bandits at the kingdoms borders just 5 days ago". The people in the court were surprised as they never heard of any village raid, "And pray tell, how you came bring such news when even the information hasn't even been notified by the army patrolling the border?", King Ed asked, he felt that the young man wasn't normal as the way he talked and his posture indicated that he was of noble birth. "That my king, is because...I found the village burned and its people slaughtered and survivors taken as prizes by the bandits. After i found their hideout i rescued the hostages and with the children i found hiding in a basement in the village i brought them here your majesty", after the people heard his words they couldn't help but laugh because a single man clearing a bandit hideout was absurd, even though he looked quite capable, one man killing dozens of armed men was absurd, the thought of him being a mage never reached their minds as mages tend to release their magic and like to show off their power, as well as their love for dressing in.....dramatic manners.

Hearing his reply the king didn't laugh as he looked at the young man and thought there was more to the story, "There is more to your story is there not", he simply asked. Hearing the king's question, Blake smiled as it seems although he was a terrible person, he was still a good king. "Indeed my lord, after killing the bandits and rescuing the survivors i searched their hideout for loot and imagine my surprise to find plans that indicated they weren't random bandits but actually trained soldiers", Blake answered as the people held their breaths at this revelation, forgetting their earlier disbelief of his accomplishments. King Ed asked the question which as all in their minds,"Which kingdom soldiers were they?", hearing the kings question Blake looked towards Rung for a moment making the latter uneasy and then returned addressing the king as he replied, "Rustmore", *boom* the room exploded with noises as the nobels and ministers started arguing while some of them were insulting Blake and verbally dressing him down. Blake didn't listen to them and simply stared right in the eyes of the king, as the latter had a solemn look on his face.

After a few minutes, there was a loud bang that was created by Irene with air magic, as she had gone completely unnoticed during the whole conversation. "Silence! This is the royal courtroom, not your house or market where you can simply do whatever you want!", she almost snorted out the last words. Watching how she commanded the whole room she got a nod from the king while Blake saw the future queen of dragons in that display as she really was born to be a queen.

"That is a bold claim young man, as we are currently on a cease fire and making peace alliance between the princess and the son of the current senior general of Rustmore", the king said as he waited for Blake to reveal wether he really had proff or if he was someone sent to cause trouble from the other kingdoms.

"Indeed, you make a bold claim against my kingdom. I hope you have sufficient proff, otherwise i will ask for a proper punishment for false accusations your majesty", Rung stepped forth as he had the same thought as the king and wanted to torture this bastard.

Hearing Rung's words Blake smiled as the moment he was waiting for had come, " Indeed, your majesty i would also request for proper punishments, if the proff i have is indeed sufficient", he said and the king nodded and said, wether i accept your request or not depends on your proff young man.

And so, Blake pulled out the plans of the Bandits, but decided to hold off the letters that would certainly have been enough proof, but wanted to make Rung suffer. After handing the plans the king read through them and indeed they truly were Rustmore soldiers and their knowledge of their border patrol routines means their current lack of information on the raid.

When Rung saw the plans, he was relieved to see that he didn't discover his brothers letters and tried salvage the situation. "Although this is indeed quite substantial proof, how do we know it wasn't made up by you. There are no insignia or anything rather than words indicating they were my kingdoms soldiers", he said. The king also agreed on this statement and waited for what the young man would do. Hearing Rung's defense, Blake knew he was caught with no way to escape and so simply handed the letter with the Rustmore royal insignia on it to the king.

After reading, the king's face became more and more furious and this made Rung sweat heavily and when the king looked at him he knew he had been found out.

"I welcomed you into my home, gave you hospitality and you repay me with betrayal, Guards! Arrest him and out him in the dungeons. This means war!", the king practically roared as the guards hurried in but before they could capture him, Rung pulled out his sword and killed the closest people besides him which included the Minister of finance and before he could do more Blake was already behind him and with a crunch his arms were broken and thrown towards the guards who caught him and led him outside.

After the whole debacle, the king, Blake and Irene were inside the private quarters of the King where Blake told him everything he found out about Rustmore's plans. After hearing the whole story the king sighed and looked towards Irene, who was also looking at him but quickly coughed and addressed Blake, "You have done a great service for the kingdom, tell me what you want, i will grant it if i am able", he asked Blake to which Blake simply asked for the women and children to be given a mansion and money so they can start new lives. The king readily agreed and said that they wouldn't need to work anymore as they will be taken care of by the royal family.

"Is there anything you would like for yourself, i was going to take care of them anyway and you haven't made any request for yourself", The king was liking Blake more and more as he was composed and polite with a kind heart and judging from his earlier display a very strong warrior. "It may be quite presumptuous of me but i promised my grandpa so i would like to be the personal guard of the princess", Blake said, as this caught the king and Irene by surprise. Before they could answer though, gave the letter sent by his grandpa ed and showed them the medallion. After reading the letter the king granted his request and sent them both away to get acquainted with each other.

After they left the king couldn't hold his twitching eyebrows anymore as he read the letter sent by his father.

"Hey Brat!

Did ya miss me! It must be lonely without my handsome face to brighten the day hahahahaha.

Anyway, i sent my grandson i found in a forest and trained to be a friend and guard for my grandaugther. Let her know its a present from her grandpa for not attending do many of her birthdays.

P.s - Don't piss off my grandson or he might just wreak the whole kingdom hahaha, i sure trained a monster. Guess I'm a great teacher.

"Where do you learn this stupid words from old man, and i wish i could take back those words all those years ago. I am truly sorry, father", King Ed sighed and slumped to his chair.

*Achoo* wiping his nose grandpa Ed stood up from his rocking chair and looked around the house, "Someone must have remembered how awesome i am, hahahaha, guess it can't be helped. I am just too awesome, hahahahaha.....", laughter filled the whole house.

Meanwhile, Blake and Irene were currently walking towards the Inn in a slow manner as Irene constantly stole gazes of Blake but the latter already knew it but kept quiet and waited for her to ask him whats on her mind.
