Arrest and Banishment

It may have taken a few days, but we have finally arrived at Dwargon. We were still a far distance away from the main gate, but we won't all be entering.

"I apologize to everyone here, but we all can't enter. If we enter as a group, we might appear threatening." Everyone seemed to understand this, but nonetheless they were disappointed.

"Gobta you will be coming since you have been here."

"Are you sure you don't want any more backup, Rimuru-sama?" Rigur said.

"Yeah, you guys can wait here we won't be long anyways."

"If that is your wish my lord." Ranga said reluctantly.

I grabbed Gobta, and we made our way off the hill and arrived at the gate. Even though there was a long line. With how long this is we might take an hour. But all of a sudden two idiots came up behind us and started threatening us. Saying things like they were gonna abduct and sell us. Even though Gobta is kinda goofy, he is still my friend. I won't allow fools like this threaten my friends.

"Gobta close your eyes and cover your ears. Do not look at what I'm about to do." He obliged easily.

Instead of giving them another chance. I used my skill [Destruction] to break their minds. It was an attack I called [Mental Devastator] from one of my magic eyes through the unique skill. The effects of this was weaker than another attack I made from that eye, as they should last only a day, then they will be back to normal.

They screamed in agony from this skill. Everyone else in line of course noticed this and figured I had something to do with this. Not wanting to be next they ran out of fear that I would get them next.

"Hey! What's all the commotion?" A guard seems to have run over here. I will figure my way out of this.

Well. I got arrested. Seems like I was more arrested as a suspect. I dragged Gobta into this mess. And now here he is asleep with me in a prison cell. I'll keep him here. In order to keep him here, I tied him with [Stick Steel Thread]. As I finished this some guard came running in the prison in a frenzy. Screaming about a Armorsaurus attacked in their mines. In order to make a good impression on them, I offered some of my potion which I filled a barrel with. They were reluctant at first, but I guess they had no choice but to trust me.

Time-skip 4 hours

It has been 4 hours since they left, to think this emergency would take this long. As I was entertaining myself with [Sticky Steel Thread], one of the guards came back with 3 others. He thanked me for giving them the potion because if I hadn't these three would have died in the mines. Those three thanked me as well and then left to go work I guess. The guard named 'Kaidou' gave me an offer for giving them the potion. I took it of course and wanted to meet a blacksmith so I can make a deal with him.

He accepted to help me meet a blacksmith. And so I said my goodbyes to the unconscious Gobta and left the prison.

It was my first time in a foreign nation, and I have to say it looks nice for an underground city. This just proves that I have to do better when I make my territory.

We arrived in front of what looks like a blacksmith shop. In the windows it displayed multiple set of what may be high grade armor. I have some standards to surpass in this world.

Once we entered, I saw the walls lined with all kinds of weapons, such as swords, spears, axes. As well as amor stands full of armor. In the very front of the room was a dwarf who was shirtless, striking a hammer down of what I assume is a sword.

"Hey, Kaijin!" Upon hearing the guards words this dwarf called Kaijin turned to look at us.\

"This slime here has been asking me to show his some craftsmen, so I started with you." Hoh. I was the topic of a conversation.

"Oh, it's nice to meet you. I am Kaijin." He's quite a respectful guy as bowed to show respect. I might need him for my territory.

"Nice to meet you too, I am Rimuru Tempest."

"Hoh, a named slime."

All of a sudden a door opened behind Kaijin, revealing the three dwarf brothers that I ended up saving.

"Hey Kaijin, this is the slime we were telling you about." The dwarf called Garm said.

"Really?" Instantly Kaijin had bowed his head to me.

"I thank you for saving these three. They are like brothers to me." He really does seem like a great guy. Makes me want to take him under me even more. But I will go through the proper channels for that.

After thanking me for saving them, I asked if they could assist me back in my village. Kaijin said he would have agreed if he didn't have an absurd request from this minister. Which was he had to make 20 magic swords in 1 week.

"If I help you finish, will you accept?"

"I don't see why not."

"Then may I see one of the completed swords?"

"Sure, Dord can you give him the one I finished?"

Dord handed me the sword Kaijin had made, the work that went into this one sword was fantastic. In this world I am only something like a crafter, and I can tell this sword had a lot of effort put into it. I admired it for a little but then absorbed it with [Predator]. Everyone around me was surprised for a bit, but I just ignored them.

'[Great Sage], do your thing.'

{Understood.}

In that instant great sage analyzed the sword and copied it via all the magic ore, I had in my [Stomach] and stored the copied swords there. I then spat them out which shocked everyone, I mean I ate one sword then spat out 19 more right in front of them.

"Will you join me now, Kaijin?" If I had a face I would be smirking proudly right now.

"Yes, just let me turn these in and submit my letter of resignation." Yes! I have achieved my goal. But lets aim for more.

"Will you three be joining as well?" I am quite greedy.

"Wherever Kaijin goes we'll follow." Said Dord as the other two nodded at his words.

Time-skip 25 minutes later

I waited with the other three dwarves for Kaijin to return to the shop. While talking to the dwarves, Garm, Dord and Myrd, they were talking about going somewhere to celebrate since they joining me. Talk of an elf bar. I cant even contain my composure that well in the talk of elves. I shall join them on this trip!

Not long after saying that, Kaijin came back into the shop.

"Ready?"

"I've never been so ready!" I said not able to contain my excitement. Causing the other guys to grin.

And so we headed to this famous elf bar. It took us about 5 minutes to walk to the shop. Upon entry I had my sight filled with beautiful elf babes!

"Cute!"

Huh? Whats this? A busty blonde elf ran up to me and hugged me! Directly pressing me into her soft chest.

'This is heaven!' I screamed inwardly.

Next thing I knew, more and mire elves found the slime me cute and also began pressing me into their chests. I am surrounded by boobs! If I die here I won't mind it.

Well, my time of being surrounded by boobs was over as the guys and I took our seats at a booth and ordered some drinks. While we were talking with the elven women who accompanied us, a dark elf gave the suggestion or reading my fortune to see who I will end up with. Lets give it a try shall we. And so after a bit of teasing, she read my fortune.

What I saw through the crystal ball was a woman with black hair with burn marks near her right eye. She was surrounded by kids, and looked Japanese. The image then faded on the ball.

"Aww! You didn't choose one of us! How mean!" Said the blonde elf that was holding me.

"I apologize! If I could choose one of you I would!" Everyone else either giggled or burst out laughing. Do they think I was joking!

In that instant someone got up from his seat and came over to our booth, seemingly annoyed by the commotion. But I could not have been more wrong.

"Vesta! What are you doing here?" Kaijin asked seemingly annoyed. So this is the minster that has something against Kaijin. He looks like a typical villain.

"Kaijin, what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be working right now? Those swords doing forge themselves you know."

"I already turned them in." Kaijin said almost mockingly toward the minister.

"Oh thats grea.... Wait what! You already turned them in?!"

"Correct. I can show you the submission form." Kaijin then took a sip from his drink, already sure he won against the minister. Vesta on the other hand seemed angry, as he looked around for anything else to complain about.

"What is that doing here? Are monsters even allowed in here?" He spotted me. Seems like I was the thing he found to complain about.

"Well, he's a smart slime so I figured he's okay." The bartender elf answered Vesta to my defense. This made me love elves even more!

"Well, either way. A monster is still a monster." He said arrogantly, as he raised his drink and proceeded to pour it onto me. Everyone gasped in surprise to this action. Maybe I should use [Destruction] on him. No I won't. He's a minister after all, that would cause problems if he ended up dead.

"Are you alright?" The lady holding me asked.

"Don't worry about me. Is your dress okay?"

"Yeah, I guess." She responded.

Thats good. While I won't kill him, he does need to have a punishment. But before I could do anything Kaijin came to my rescue and punched Vesta square in the face.

"Vesta! How dare you insult and harm my friend?!" Kaijin is quite a stand up guy. I'm glad he decided to join me.

"Kaijin! You will pay for your transgressions!" Vesta said this before running out, presumably to get law enforcement since he did punch a minister.

"Was that really alright Kaijin? He is a minister after all."

"He insulted my friend. I stick up for my friends, so his title doesn't matter." Thats welcoming. My respect raised for you even more.

So after the guards came to the elf bar. Their leader was Kaidou. Him and Kaijin exchanged a few words before we were arrested. We were then promptly and swiftly arrested and thrown into the same cell as Gobta again. Everyone then went to sleep to wake up in the morning for our trial.

Hours Later

It was now morning and everyone was awake including Gobta. He was not there so I would hate to include him in our mess so I'll leave him here for now.

We were now being let out of our cell. The guys were put in cuffs while I was wrapped in chains. Guess thats what they use since I don't have hands. I could get out of this easily, but lets leave it in place.

After this walk, we entered a large building. One with elevated seats from the ground. The people who occupied those seats were occupied by what looks like the nobles here. I can't help but feel that this court is biased against us. Vesta was wearing all kinds of casts on his body. I see what he's doing now, Kaijin told me about this anyways.

Soon after a bit of waiting this massive man walks in.

"Everyone kneel! For you are in the presence of King Gazel Dwargo!" So thats who he is. I figured since he sat of the most royal like seat.

King Gazel seemed to be observing us. I noticed his gaze was mostly on me in particular. He doesn't want to kill me does he?

Well whatever about that, I don't plan on dying. But to go forward the lawyer who was representing us ended up betraying us. Seems like Vesta bought him to get his way. Once that was over it was up to King Gazel to decide judgement.

"Have you been well Kaijin?" His voice is pretty intimidating, but I already met the storm dragon so its pretty underwhelming.

"I have been great my liege. What about you?" He was surprised that the king asked him a question, but as quick as that happened he quickly regained his composure.

"I have been well too Kaijin. Now tell me do you wish to return to my ranks?" He asked Kaijin. The moment those words left his mouth, it caused as stir among the seated participants. I guess they did not expect this.

"I'm sorry my liege. But I already gave my word to another, and my word is the most important thing to me."

"You defy the king!" Immediately the guards lined at the walls all raised their spears and were slowly moving in on us. This is starting to irritate me further, maybe one guard will do. But before I could do anything the king stopped them with one motion of his hand.

"Very well. I hereby exile Kaijin and the brothers from Dwargon. Begone from my sight!" I got what I came here for, but in the end I can't help but feel bad for Kaijin.

With that done we left the courtroom and were put at the gate of a seen off. Kaidou came to see his brother off.
