Chapter 37: Combats

After all, there was no rule that said you couldn't use some dirty tactics to win, they were ninjas after all, of course, most of the ninja present wanted the public and the Daimyō to see them fighting and winning in a more... sophisticated, fair and honorable way

The 10th match was between Orochimaru and a Takigakure ninja, in which despite the efforts of the Taki ninja, Orochimaru won without much effort, in fact, his victory was the most impressive so far as he managed to beat his opponent with pure strategy and genius, every move, every attack and jutsus he made was planned with purpose that led him to a quick victory.

The audience loved and marveled at his demonstration and he was applauded and praised by almost everyone, he had excelled in his first match as the genius of Konoha, which earned a big smile from Sarutobi and a look of pure envy from the pervert Jiraiya who argued that his victory was much better than his despite the clear difference between the laughter he received and the clear applause and cheers Orochimaru was receiving.

And for the 11th match of the first round, it was finally Rumia's turn to fight against a ninja from Kemurigakure, she was lucky enough to be at a similar level to this ninja and this match was one of the most boring and certainly the longest so far, luckily Custus(Rumia) took the victory in the end so she had successfully made it to the second round, although she was already very satisfied winning this match.

She was very happy about the fact that out of all the opponents she could have been matched against, it was one she could deal with.

Moments later the names of Magasa Chikamatsu a ninja from Suna and Haremi Hyuga from Konoha were shown on the screen, the 12th combat between these two was a constant back and forth, Hyuga with his Kekkei Genkai, the Byakugan along with his Gentle Fist style and Chikamatsu with his puppets that prevented the Hyuga from getting close to him.
