the strange lady

"Moore, I'm talking to you. Where have you been?" asked Christopher.

"I don't know, I've been working around all day looking for a job," replied Moore.

"Working around all day or goofing around?" questioned Christopher. He is Moore's younger brother and housemate.

He has a wife and a four-year-old son named Summer. "Moore, you can't keep going on like this. This isn't living, it's just existing. You really need to put yourself out there," Christopher continued.

"I know," Moore replied.

"It seems like there's something fundamentally wrong with me," said Moore.

Christopher's wife, Emily, stepped in and said, "Don't say that. You just need to find your own way." Emily Lawson is a successful marketing manager at a top housing firm in town.

Moore looked at Emily with surprise, wondering when she had developed a nicer attitude towards him. Emily had never been fond of Moore, but she didn't dislike him either. She just felt that Moore never pushed himself enough. Moore felt like a child who had just been told how to act. A little laugh escaped his lips.

Sensing the tension, Christopher chimed in, "It's okay, let Moore find a girlfriend and things will get better." Moore thought for a moment but couldn't find anything to say. Instead, he suggested, "Let me take Summer for a stroll in the park. It's Saturday and the weather feels nice today."

Emily looked at Christopher and thought to herself, "I really need some alone time." Meanwhile, Christopher had something else in mind when Moore brought up the idea while looking at Emily. Emily felt a little embarrassed when she saw the look on Christopher's face. In her heart, she knew her husband's innermost thoughts. With that in mind, Moore strolled over to Summer, took his hand, and left the house.

Strolling down the street, Moore walked over to the park, sat on the bench, and allowed Summer to play with other kids leisurely. While observing his surroundings, he noticed a strange lady sitting on the bench not far away. He thought to himself, 'This lady seems out of place here.' The lady, maybe in her sixties, looks like a fortune-teller with her colorful robe and her headtie. It seemed known that she is a fortune-teller, but what is she doing here? Moore thought to himself. While Moore was still in advance, though the lady seemed to have sensed something, she stood up and walked towards Moore. Moore's heart was racing seeing the lady walking towards him. He felt a little bit awkward. 'Hello, young man, I am Madam Gee. What is your name?' she asked. Moore hesitated for a while, not knowing what to say. She continued, 'It is not polite when someone introduces themselves to you, and you cannot do the same.'

Moore finally steadied himself and answered, "My name is Moore Alexander, but you can call me Moore." Madam Gee looked at Moore closely, studying every aspect of him without saying a word. Moore felt uncomfortable, wondering why Madam Gee was staring at him this way. Besides, he felt a piercing gaze, as if someone was looking into his soul. After about a minute of wordless observation, Madam Gee spoke again. "Young man, you seem to have a strange aura about you." Moore was dumbfounded for a while. To himself, it seemed that Madam Gee was strange. "What are you talking about?" he asked Madam Gee.

Madam Gee replied, "You carry about you a taboo, or in other words, you have been cursed." Confused, Moore asked again, "I do not know you, and you do not know me. Why would you say such a thing to me?" Moore was trying his best to be polite to Madam Gee, thinking she was a scam artist or a charlatan. Madam Gee, knowing fully well what Moore was thinking, took the initiative to further inquire. "The omens around you are full of negative energy. I am guessing that from your childhood, you have not had much luck. It feels as if bad luck follows you around. You have never succeeded in anything you do." Madam Gee paused for a while, observing Moore's reaction.

Moore felt humiliated, wondering why this unknown stranger had just given him a straight lecture about all the unfortunate things in his life. He braced himself and asked, "You seem to know a lot about me. Do you mind telling me how?" Madam Gee replied, "That is not for me to tell you right now, but know that you will meet someone who will change your luck." With that, she walked away, leaving Moore more confused than ever.Moore was still in a daze when he got home from the park. Even Emily noticed Moore's absent-mindedness when he arrived. "Moore, is there something bothering you or did something happen to you?" she asked. "No, not at all," replied Moore. "On the contrary, I met a strange lady who told me some odd things about myself," Moore explained. Emily seemed curious now and immediately asked, "What did she say to you?" Moore decided not to bother her with all the details and just told her a condensed version of what had happened earlier.

In a magnificent office downtown, an older lady in her sixties was speaking to a beautiful young lady around thirty-five years old. "I have found the one you have been looking for," the older lady said. The young lady was shocked. "Are you sure he is the one?" she asked. "Would I lie to you?" the older lady replied. She then sat down on the sofa and took a sip of wine, smiling to herself. "Now that we have found him, what's next?" the young lady, Katerina Heart, asked. The older lady was none other than Madam Gee, and Katerina Heart was a sexy, curvy lady with straight legs and a height of five feet seven inches. She was a beauty executive of a five thousand fortune company.

"After five hundred years, I have finally found him," Madam Gee thought to herself. "I can't wait to meet him." She turned to Madam Gee and said, "Tell me everything about him and don't leave anything out." After about five minutes of speaking, Madam Gee finally paused. Katerina, still standing and looking out the window, was lost in thought. "I can't believe it has been five hundred years," she said. Memories of the life they shared together flooded her mind. She turned to Madam Gee and said, "Take me to him."
