They not gone folow necessarily the UCM, but it will have influence. This novel is BL so for those who don't like the genre, I don't recommend reading it. The protagonist will be OP, but will have growth. The posting rate should not be very regular as I write other books and have other studies and work. Hope you like it! @great.daoofspace

What red thing is that?

 Sorcerer David POV

My fingers moved at an incredibly high speed as I completed the spell. Golden runes and magical symbols prevented anyone from seeing through, and finally, the cloaking spell and barrier ensured our protection and safety.

sigh

I let out a soft sigh and managed to relax.

"Hey… what was that terrifying feeling just now? Could that person… or whatever it is… actually see us?" my friend asked, a bit shaken.

I replied with some hesitation. "I don't think he actually saw us, given we're hidden in a special dimension. However, he might have sensed our presence." I recalled those blue eyes, which seemed to contain endless, terrifying power, capable of seeing through anything.

"Those eyes… and that overwhelming mental force… it felt enormous and well-practiced," I murmured, hearing my friend's voice again.

"Yes… it didn't seem any less powerful than top-tier sorcerers—or even those legendary witches… Ugh, speaking of witches, remember that rookie one we had to deal with recently? Using curses all over the place," he said. I nodded; she wasn't too strong, but she had been troublesome.

"By the way… considering he's near that black alien with the unique presence, I imagine he's the special one the Ancient mentioned," I remarked, and my friend agreed. We'd encountered that distinct presence before—a being from another dimension that loved inciting a berserker-like frenzy, leaving pure destruction. He wasn't strong, but his stealth skills were impressive, and he needed to be imprisoned or eliminated quickly.

"I'm not sure why the Ancient assigned us this mission… but we have no choice," my friend added, and we continued watching, waiting for the entity to retreat or things to get too dangerous for the two people below.

MC POV

'My love, stay on high alert… Besides the alien in front of us, it seems like there are two other groups or beings nearby… Don't let your guard down.'

He looked at me, surprised, but quickly masked it and walked beside me. We both finally stopped, facing the supposed dog.

"Well. Vitrir , are you going to stop pretending to be a dog?" I asked calmly, but the small dog didn't move. I didn't mind and raised my hand, summoning an ice sword in my left hand and slashing at the dog. The creature, Pet, was clearly startled.

In a flash, the fluffy, innocent-looking dog became covered in a black substance, turning monstrous, and it lunged directly at me. Remaining calm, I executed one of my planned moves. A borg shield enveloped me and Spider-Man, and I raised both hands before him.

"Ice Make: Cannon."

A cold blue ice cannon formed in my hands, firing a ball of pure ice that struck the creature, launching it across the room into a corner.

I had already tested my ice, wind, and lightning powers on Pet. I'd also tried mental and energy attacks; they'd worked slightly, but not entirely effectively. For other attack options, fire, water, light, darkness, and sound seemed feasible. Among them, besides water, which I doubted would differ much, fire and sound were promising.

First, I turned my hand, summoning a large dog beside me. "Arcanine, Flamethrower."

Following my command, the Pokémon jumped into the air, unleashing a powerful fire attack. I chose fire initially as it required no extra expenditure and came with a mission reward. Though not always the case, the system occasionally provided hints, including reward sources.

It worked. I saw the alien react with fear and caution at the sight of the flames, its body burning slightly as it emitted soft sounds of pain. Still, as it had a host, its resistance was considerable, but I instructed Arcanine to fire more flame bursts, adding strong wind bursts to amplify the flames' power.

This proved effective, cornering him. As for the animals… Pet helped me move some out and even brought my slimes to assist. I'd have to compensate him, luckily having seized a lot of money from criminals recently.

While letting the flames roar with my wind powers, I saw the creature's body diminish and prepared to capture it. I'd spent all my points on two special items. One was two Canary Sonic Bombs from DC, usable once daily with replenishment, and the other was a medium-sized capsule from *Dragon Ball*, designed by Cooler Tech. It was built to contain parasitic or liquid-like entities—imperfect but sufficient, as I wasn't sure if my powers alone could eliminate it.

Taking the item in my other hand, a futuristic metallic device, I pressed a few buttons, and it hovered beside me. I saw that Vitrir seemed somewhat contained by the fire but was also contemplating retreat.

Without hesitation, I removed one of the sound bombs and decided to test it on him. The bomb was round, slightly blue. I tossed it toward him, and upon proximity, it erupted with a loud, destructive sound. My eyes gleamed because, compared to the flames, sound proved highly effective.

To the point that Vitrir leapt from its host, a small dog, which my shadow slime saved. Seeing this, I didn't hesitate. My body was wrapped in my energy shield, and the ancient power within me roared, my tattoo glowing green around my feet. Surrounded by powerful winds, I propelled forward.

I appeared beside Vitrir , ready to trap him in the equipment, but at that moment, my Haki alerted me, and I stored the equipment, firing Qi energy into the sky. My energy seemed to hit something. I had to step back and observe the being. My eyes glowed blue as I saw a type of red monster resembling a small elf, with four oversized arms, two wings—one leathery, the other feathery—and one leg appearing almost tentacle-like.

Seeing it, I sensed that this entity was more spiritual than physical. My pure energy attack had some effect, but it wasn't sufficient, as it wasn't targeted toward spiritual or soul-based beings, which is the impression I got of this individual.

The odd monster swiftly moved toward Vitrir . Sensing a strong threat, I gripped my staff in my left hand and held my original sword in my right. Due to its Aetheric properties, the sword affected entities and spiritual beings.

My staff released a massive amount of magoi energy, but it was too late—the entity entered Vitrir body. Instantly, a dark red energy wave erupted, which barely affected me due to the borg shield and wind power, but it shattered the surroundings and destroyed the store's glass display. Pet and Arcanine shielded themselves using objects pulled in with webs.
