Invading the base of the "Hand".

I stayed in the kitchen, and in what felt like a blink of an eye, we all finished eating as we chatted about various topics. We had dinner a bit earlier tonight because I had an activity planned with Peter later in the evening.

We finally found useful information on *The Hand*, particularly on a recent project that seems somehow connected to Daredevil's supposed "friend," known as Elektra. Some of the information seemed strange, but I intended to investigate it soon. The other day, when I destroyed one of their locations, the men there were stronger, radiating a dark energy that felt almost demonic. Reading one of their minds, I discovered this power came from a demonic ritual to summon an entity called "The Beast."

This discovery left me deeply concerned, but I managed to deal with them, even cleansing their energy with my flames, though it took some effort. I'd been studying witchcraft and sorcery, and one of the spells I learned seemed capable of countering this energy. I considered using it with a touch of my divine fire to amplify its effect.

After dinner, Peter and I suited up. My outfit was all black, like the depths of the night, with a slight cape, a Majin mask, a slim utility belt, and several pouches containing Nightwing equipment and smaller gadgets. On my left wrist, I wore my high-tech watch, colored green and black. Two small leather pouches on my right side were hidden among the layers of my outfit—one holding my special dagger, and the other, my wand.

Fully geared up, I activated my divine power and used *Kai Kai* to teleport Peter and me—not to the hideout, but to another building.

When we arrived, I saw Daredevil, Iron Fist, and Power Man. The three of them were conversing in one corner of the room. When they sensed us, their attention turned our way.

"Let's begin the meeting, but first…"

I took out my wand and began walking in a circle around us, twirling it a few times to stir the energy in the room. "Silentus Scarcere." With that, an invisible barrier that prevents sound from escaping was raised. They didn't notice, and I didn't intend to explain, so I put my wand away, sat down beside Peter, and waited for them to speak.

"We've detected some unusual movements from them at a building in the city and two other locations," Daredevil announced calmly. "The building has the most people, while the other two are smaller—one's essentially just a small room, and Luke's girlfriend Jessica will cover that area along with Colleen from Iron Fist's team."

"I also saw Madame Gao entering the place," Iron Fist added.

"I see. Show us the digital maps." At my request, Matt took out his communication device and, with a touch, projected a holographic map in front of us. I was impressed with how well the group's symbol and communication system were functioning.

Besides the maps, there were notes on each location, including details about the enemy. Two digital figures of Jessica and Colleen were also marked on the map.

The second location, a bit larger and seemingly with more enemies, caught my attention, so I looked at Peter. Within the group, he'd be best suited for this mission. I'd trained him in combat, and he was the most well-equipped, both in items and powers. His potential is vast and still growing; even powerful mutants don't always stand a chance against him. Of course, I was concerned, but based on the preliminary intel, it shouldn't be too challenging—even if a strong mutant or similar threat appeared. Plus, I wanted to give him a challenge, knowing he could escape if necessary.

"Spider-Man, can you handle the second location?" My voice seemed to surprise the others, and Cage voiced the question on their minds.

"We thought you'd take that place, Immortal."

Their reaction didn't surprise me. I smiled behind my mask and replied, "I have another plan. Spider-Man is more than capable; though he may lack some experience, he has the strength to make up for it. His focus won't be to take on the whole base, and he'll withdraw if it gets dangerous."

With my reassurance, they dropped the subject, though I could see Danny looked like he wanted to say more.

I dismissed the two smaller projections, leaving only the main target in the center. The meeting was set to take place on the sixth floor of a building near a construction site—a detail Peter had uncovered while invisible.

"If everyone agrees, I'll start investigating this part of the building while you three infiltrate the main structure." They didn't object, and we reached a silent consensus. What I didn't realize was that, without an official leader, the others had quietly placed me in a leadership role, respecting my organization of the hideout and my proactive approach.

For instance, they'd been using the Faekin plant-based magical transportation system I'd set up to easily enter and exit the base, which everyone found quite useful.

"Daredevil, is Elektra really on our side?" He hesitated, which made me narrow my eyes, but eventually, he nodded. I also sensed they were hiding something from me, especially when Luke and Matt exchanged a look that hinted at a shared understanding.

After finalizing a few more details, I gestured slightly to break the silence barrier. I teleported Peter first, then returned to bring the other three to the main base—an alley next to the building.

The building itself was tall, with about 12-15 floors, large windows, and a nearby construction site where trucks and equipment entered.

"Good luck," I said before teleporting. "Apparate." With that, I warped into the construction area, hidden among the dirt and trucks. Activating *Zetsu*, I conjured a faint green energy in my hands and opened the *Air Door*.

Within this pocket dimension, I began to explore, checking in with my bees, some of which were following the group infiltrating the building, while others scouted the underground region.

Peering through tiny dimensional portals, I used my enhanced vision to observe the area from the shadows. I noticed unusual materials being transported—explosives among them, along with items resembling dark magic artifacts, though different, like the energy I'd sensed in that man before.

I continued inspecting the area, discreetly removing the explosives and stashing them in my inventory. The way they'd positioned them in the tunnels seemed highly dangerous, so gradually collecting them was certainly for the best.
