Calmly, while still inside the dimension, I opened the system screen.

After reading the mission, I wasn't too concerned. It was already part of my plan, and the reward was appealing, especially since I only had Gin's wooden sword and a lightsaber with certain limitations. Now, with the fusion ability of this reward, I would be able to enhance my sword's power, especially my Wind and Cloud sword technique, mixed with Madara's genjutsu skills. After all, Daedric material is a powerful substance, likely with special effects, and the second item would allow me to fuse better swords into one, increasing its potential for the future.
Shifting my focus away from the reward, I decided to act quickly. I found a small storage room that lacked surveillance systems, and my hand glowed with a blue-green light, activating the air door. The portal opened, and I stepped out of the dimension calmly.
Once out, I touched my Omnitrix and checked in with the Anturian about how the base infiltration was going. My request was for him to weaken the databases, particularly the cameras and doors keeping the prisoners locked up, as well as any items that served as restraints or tracking devices. His job was also to find any information regarding how the military tracked the mutants.
"The information is being collected, master. From what I've found, there's only a small bracelet with a strong GPS and a system that administers electric and toxic punishments in case of disobedience," he informed me.
"I'm already infiltrating the systems, causing small disruptions to the cameras and any internal radar systems. I'm also hacking into the doors and these bracelets to disable them or at least prevent any alarms from going off when they're removed."
"Okay. Thanks, Anturian," I replied with a smile. I touched my Omnitrix, navigating its interface until the image of three beings appeared. I scrolled for a moment before selecting the ghost-like form. I pressed down on it, and a soft green light enveloped my body.
In a matter of milliseconds, my DNA was modified, and changes began to happen. My body turned ghostly and slightly spiritual. My legs vanished, my arms became sharp, dangerous claws, and my body was wrapped in green chains, with traces of dark clothing resembling armor. At the center of my chest, there was a mark with a black and green device containing what appeared to be tentacles.
When the light faded, I was no longer the same.
"Phantasmatic," I whispered in a soft but slightly eerie tone.
I became invisible and immaterial, allowing me to pass through anything. I began moving through walls, heading toward the cells.

**Blink's POV:**
I was on the ship, feeling a little anxious, not only because of the mission's importance but also due to the actions of the individual known as "Immortal." However, I decided to trust Professor Ororo.
A few minutes after he left, a signal was received on the ship. Once that happened, Hank and the AI, Danger, quickly began their work, and within moments, they had infiltrated the base's surveillance and defensive systems, at least in the virtual sense.
With that done, the ship entered the island's perimeter, landing in a small, hidden coastal area surrounded by rocks. After ensuring that the cloaking system was engaged, I, Bob, and Angel exited the ship.
As the infiltration and long-range attack team, Hank remained behind to continue assisting with the data and system infiltration. The Professor would use the Brain equipment to provide telepathic and mental control support from a distance, while Storm stayed in place to offer protection.
Angel looked at us, nodded, and flew into the sky, moving discreetly around the island. His role was to serve as a lookout and provide information or support from above. His ability to move quickly, coupled with his stealthy attack methods, made him ideal for this task, unlike Storm's powers, which, while destructive, were far too noticeable.
Once he left, I looked at my boyfriend and closed my eyes, focusing on the spatial differences around us. With my right hand, I opened a portal to the interior of one of the prison areas.
Without hesitation, Bob and I stepped through the portal and emerged on the other side. As soon as we arrived, we saw two armed guards who were startled by our sudden appearance. However, before they could react, ice spread around them, and they became small popsicles.
I sighed in relief and looked up. I noticed that the cameras seemed to be malfunctioning, and at that moment, I heard a voice in my head.
*'Blink, relax. We've taken over the feed and altered the footage in this area. Free the mutants and send them directly to the mansion or onto the ship. Remember to conserve energy.'*
Recognizing the Professor's voice, I nodded, and we made our way to the cells. Inside, we found the mutants in terrible conditions. Some still had needle marks, and others were semi-intubated. A few were in slightly better shape.
Upon seeing us, they were initially frightened, but they seemed to recognize that parts of Bob's body were frozen, indicating he was a mutant. Without hesitation, Bob froze the doors and any restrictive devices attached to the mutants. After gathering a few of them, I created portals to free the others.
However, something strange caught our attention—only a few guards had entered the area, and those who did were quickly frozen. While it was possible that the Professor was controlling their minds to redirect them, it still felt a bit unusual. Intrigued but not overly concerned, we continued moving to the other floors.
However, what we didn't know was that, in addition to the Professor's interventions, some unusual scenes were unfolding on the floor. Specifically, a few individuals appeared to have their bodies taken over by some sort of spirit, causing them to lose control. Others were stuck to the ceiling or walls by a strange green goo, worse than glue, while some seemed to have been frozen or incapacitated by strikes to the neck or other strong, direct attacks.
At the same time, as the second floor began to be assaulted, the people in the lab started to notice that something unusual was happening.
...
MC POV
In my greenish form, I passed through the pipes and quickly enveloped the bodies of two individuals. They tried to use their weapons to attack, but the weapons soon began to melt, dissolving in contact with the acidic nature of my body. As a small ship, I looked at them and greeted them with what sounded like a smiling voice.
"Don't think too much. It's better to stay quiet. At least I'm not eliminating you," I said.
My voice had a strange, robotic, alien tone, but it was oddly soothing and pleasant.
"Help—" They tried to scream or call for help, but the adhesive strands of goo were already stuck to their mouths, preventing them from making any noise. Without hesitation, I delivered a strong blow to their necks, then stuck them to the ceiling like flies caught in a flytrap.
Satisfied with my work, my small ship re-entered the piping system, moving at a moderate to fast speed toward another floor, where Blink and Bob were already located. Beyond that floor, there was only one more sector and the last one, which held the "special" individual imprisoned on the other floor.
"It's pretty fun… moving like this… and having a different body," I murmured, feeling the strange yet slightly amusing sensation of inhabiting an entirely different form.
