Chapter 10: Revelation

Days have passed. We've travel together and went to different places. Something keeps bothering my mind but I didn't mind it.

Lara and I went to La Cheron a restaurant near the museum it became our favorite place because the food is great here.

I fixed the chair for her to sit. We ordered our favorite baked tahong and others. After a few minutes the food was served.

Lara and I keep on eating. She asked so many questions but Im not in the mood to answer some of it because going back to the past keeps on bothering me.

She noticed that there's something wrong with me. "Lucas are you okay?", she asked. I think that it's time to tell her everything. I didn't answer her question but instead I brought her to the museum.

We went to the antiques and I showed her my picture and the watch. "I'm sorry Lara. I know that I should've told you this sooner.", I said.

"Told me what?", she asked. Her face is filled with questions.

She grabs my hand. "Lucas please don't leave me.", she said while crying.

"You once promised me that you'll make it up to me right? But why are you leaving?", she asked me. She's trembling while holding my right hand and her tears keeps on falling.

I want to comfort her but I can't move and I don't know why. There's a part of me that's is longing to hug her. I dont know why but it hurts me a lot seeing her cry. I am about to move but I heard a noise.
