Chapter 2 - Talks of the future

"Really grandfather! Major is going to teach me again?!" Bell the white haired bunny like boy yelled, after waking up to a voice he had not heard for a long time, he rushed down stairs to see the man he admired.

"Calm down bell. Yes it is true Major will train you again but not just yet. There are other things we need to talk about. Understand?" Zeus couldn't help but shake his head at the boy, his face was full of smiles as he picked him up, holding him slightly as bell's excitement waned a little.

"Don't lose all your excitement so fast bell, when the time comes, I'll teach you, all that i know about the sword, I promise. For now me and your grandfather have much to talk about." Majors voice was lighter then before as he placed his hand on bells head once more.

"I understand, it's just.. uh, I wanted to talk to uncle more that's all." Bell said, his face and voice couldn't hide his disappointment as he was put down by Zeus. Still after hearing he would be training with major again, a smile came to his face.

"You will have plenty of time to speak to him, just not now. Now you need rest, so run a long upstairs." Zeus said with a warm smile as he rubbed the boys cheek, watching him nod as he ran to the stairs only to stop at the bottom.

"Uncle Major.. uh, I'm glad you came back." With a big smile he said as he raced up the stairs and in to the dark of the hallway.

"Still the same as always.." Major said, his head moving to the dark of the upstairs hallway, no matter how hard bell tried he could feel him still watching.

"Yes, so how about we take a walk. There is something I would like to ask you." Zeus could also feel bells eyes, his hand moving to rub his beard as he shook his head, only to move towards the front door as Major nodded.

The door cracked as the hypnotic purple of the moons light shined, the dark of the world being illuminated by its glow, it was so close in the sky, as it's color danced off of Major's long purplish blue hair, giving it a calm like luster as his purple eyes danced in its light. The trees slowed as the wind of the night seemed to stop, and the creatures who once made noice stopped, while a translucent wave came from Major's body.

"What is it you want old friend? It's clear you don't want the boy to know." Major said, walking more into the yard with his hands behind his back, while he looked at Zeus who's eyes watched the moon in the sky.

"I plan on leaving here in a few years.. not really sure but you will know before hand." Zeus finally spoke after a few minutes of silence, his words seemed to only travel to Major as no echo rang.

"Leave? Where do you plan to go? And the boy, what is it you want me to do?" Major said, as his eyes closed listening to his old friend, even if he wasn't sure what he wanted. He had his own ideas of what would happen.

"I plan on dying.. well you can understand what I mean. When that time comes, I want you to take bell under your wing until he can stand on his own, or with others. That is all old friend, I plan to put him on the path to Orario.." Zeus spoke slowly, and yet his words seemed hard to speak. He could feel the numbing tingles along the skin of his neck as he spoke of Orario, his eyes moving to look at Major who's eyes glowed in the shadows of his hat.

"You'd send the boy to Orario? And wish for me to guide him. I can understand but you and I both know the danger in him being sent there." Major let out a breath as his mind seemed to change back, he owed 15 years of his life to Zeus no matter how ridiculous it was, Major would find a way to get it done, he would not let his debt go unpaid.

"I know what happened back then, and as much as it pains me to put you in that situation.. I do not want the boy to fall into that kind of misfortune, that's why I asked you and Artemis to watch over him." Zeus knew what he was asking was not easy, not that Major couldn't do it but the memories that plagued Major came from that city, knowing that he could only turn away from Major as he looked up at the moon.

"Artemis as well? *ha, here I thought I'd never step foot in that city again. Very well Old friend, I have heard your order. Your will, my hands.. I owe you that much." Major who moved up beside Zeus spoke, his hand on his old friends shoulder as they looked at the moon once more.

"Thank you, truly.. my old friend." Zeus spoke low as they turned, talking in a loose way as they moved back into the house as the moon light seemed to dim, as they closed the door behind themselves.

Hours passed as the two spoke, and talked about Major's travels all this time, the night had set in, and they drank while they tried to look forward to the future. After a while Zeus was taken back, his eyes studying Major's face, confused why the man had asked for a black cloak. Still he got up, and with a nod Zeus handed Major a cloak from long ago as Major put it on.

"What do you plan to do Major? I thought you weren't in to the kind of business anymore." Zeus said, looking at Major pull the hood over his hat, the stains of blood that never came out, stuck heavily to the old cloak with a iron like smell.

"Don't get the wrong idea.. you said it would take a few years, right? So I will start making plans now. For that I need to visit an old friend." Major said, his nose smelling the iron as he felt a wave of nostalgia, his eyes moving to Zeus as he spoke lowly.

"A old friend? You having friends.. uh, I mean.." Zeus spoke but seemed to cough as he brought up friends, his face dark as he looked down, only to feel a tap on his chest.

"It is fine old friend, I plan to go into the city. To meet a friend? Maybe she's still a friend, strange lover? I don't know anymore, I did run away from her after all." With a melancholy look, Major spoke from the past, ask he pulled his hood more.

"Really now? You would go to her, she has been a hand full for a while.. but I guess it's different with you huh, Lover of a god." Zeus couldn't help but laugh as he thought of a face from a long while ago, her red hair, and joking like look always on her face. He had a hard time believing she of all people, would feel for a steel like man major turned out to be.

"Enough of the jokes.. she does that enough on her own.." Major said as he waved off Zeus and his play on words, pulling the cloak to cover his body and sword, he nodded as he walked out into the night.

"Good luck, old friend.." Zeus said to himself as he sat down, his eyes moving to the stairs as the boy bell fell asleep in the hallway, with a shake of is head, and a small chuckle he moved to take him to bed.

'Are you still mad at me after all this time.. or did you forget. I would be lying if I said I wasn't feeling something about seeing you again, Loki..' with a thought in his mind, Major's body disappeared in a instant as the moon dimmed once more.

(A.N surprise I guess? I actually like loki..)
