"You... who are you? And... how can I remember these things about me? I didn't until now. What are you doing to me?" She pointed her finger accusingly at the other woman.
The woman smiled again, blinking once. "I am not doing anything to you, Ruth. It is you and your mind that are doing everything. I am just listening to what you don't want to and saying what you have forgotten."
Ruth didn't understand what she was talking about, but if her words were helping her to know the truth, then so be it.
"What did I do that I am here?" Ruth asked after a moment, bracing herself to hear something that might be not pleasant.
"You did something that no one else would have done. You saved many lives. You showed the world what a Luna should be like!"
Ruth tried to rummage through her memory pockets. Surprisingly she found a pocket where the faded memories began to take a solid form. She could see a battle, cries of the war and... blood. Blood of the innocents.
