THE EYES THAT SPIT ONLY FIRE!
Ruth walked into Edwin's office without knocking on the door. She seemed worried and sad. Edwin put his work aside as he observed her taking slow steps in his way. As soon as she reached near him, he pulled her on his lap and placed a soft kiss on her left cheek.
She did not gasp in surprise like other times at his actions. She sat silently in a comfortable position and hugged him by putting her hands around his neck.
A minute of silence later, Edwin softly asked, "Are you alright? You should be in the training session right now, shouldn't you?!"
Ruth shook her head.
"I do not feel like doing anything today. Lady Elsie has asked Miss Chang for a break and Mr Welby is at Rees's home."
Edwin sighed, leaning back in his chair. He ran his fingers through her toffee brown long locks, which felt silky against his skin.
Her flowery smell, her body warmth and her feel made his wolf purr in delight.
"What do you think about everything that is happening around us?"
