SHE IS DEAD
That night Edwin stayed up late. He couldn't stop thinking about today. He sat in a chair with a glass of wolfsbane potion in his hand. The headache didn't give him a minute of relief.
Ruth was sleeping in the bed for about an hour ago. He stayed beside her until she fell asleep, but once he confirmed that she was asleep, he got out of the bed.
There was no point in trying to toss and turn in the bed.
After some time, Edwin found his eyes getting heavier, and he leaned back to sit comfortably in the chair. His eyelids drooped, and before he knew it, he fell asleep.
Ruth turned to lay on her back and snuggled in her duvet, wrapping it tightly around her. She was in a deep sleep, and soon she landed in the world that was meant only for her.
She again found herself in the dark space with no one else around her. She was now used to getting there, and it didn't scare her anymore. The only thing that made her nervous was what she would discover next in that dark space.
