KEEPING A SNAKE UNDER THE BED?
Edwin was in his office, along with everyone discussing the matters in his hands when Harold appeared there unannounced. Nobody expected him to be there, yet with Ruth's insistence, Edwin allowed him to speak.
"You were following the guard who is acting suspiciously since Fannie's death."
Even Ruth tensed hearing Fannie's name.
Edwin remained silent, not letting out anything on his face.
"He has spilled the beans!"
"What are you saying?" Rees almost growled, but Thea held him back.
"How is that possible? I am following him for weeks now and that man hasn't given away any clue. How could he tell you everything?" Rees was not ready to calm down until Edwin passed him a meaningful look.
"Sometimes the easy ways don't work Welby," Harold smirked, looking his way.
"What has he told you?" Edwin asked in an authoritative tone.
