HANDLING VINCARDINE WITHOUT EDWIN
Without Ruth and Edwin, Elsie, Eloise and Raynold sat in the privacy of Raynold's room. It was the next day that they had seen the group off, and so far, things were quiet. But how long? That was the question at the centre of this discussion.
Railing back on the sofa, Raynold said, "Elsie, Eloise, you both need to be very alert now. You may not know this, but Edwin had his eyes and ears everywhere.
The only reason he left a few matters unattended or ignored them was he didn't WANT to pay attention to them. With Rees and Kevin gone, it will be a difficult task to play well on every front."
Edwin had given Raynold the very important and difficult responsibility of guiding everyone in his absence. And Raynold didn't wish to fail his cousin's trust by slugging around and waiting for something ominous to happen.
He wanted to prepare everyone around for every worst and every difficulty.
"I have figured out a few persistent problems we need to deal on the prioriy basis." Elsie said.
