FACING THE FEAR!
Ruth held her breath while hiding behind the wall. She only prayed that Harold would not recognise Thea as someone who had ruined his plan. Whatever that plan was anyway!
But as she saw him smiling at Thea, she released a shaky breath of a sigh. He was not suspecting her! Thea was safe... yet!
"It is nice meeting you Mrs Welby! You are such a pretty young lady!" Harold's lust-filled eyes recked Thea up and down from head to toe.
But she refused to cower under his gaze. She stood confident and pretended to be naive of his inner thoughts.
"I wonder how Welby has got a beautiful mate like you!"
Thea giggled... dramatically.
"Oh Lord davies! I had heard about your sweet tongue but I never got a chance to hear from you." Thea batted her lashes at him.
But from within, all she wanted to do was set his tail on fire.
Harold smiled suggestively, as he leaned down to her eye level.
"This tongue is capapble of many more things Mrs Welby!"
