Raynold walked between Rees and Thea to the terrace where tonight's dinner was specially arranged by Ruth. Thea filled him with the preparations Ruth had done by herself because she wanted to do something memorable for Raynold as he was the first relative she was hosting from Edwin's mother's side.
Raynold was touched by her thought and efforts and was now satisfied that what he had heard about her so far was not only a rumour but a reality.
Leaving the corridor behind, they reached a large arch that opened into a larger open terrace. Raynold's curious eyes were taking in every little detail of the place. The white curtains with embroidery of flowers and leaves welcome him as he walked out on the terrace.
The place was illuminated with numerous candles and designer lamps. A large table was set in the middle decorated with a red tablecloth and fragrant white flowers. He noticed some people he hadn't yet met along with Edwin, Ruth and Elsie.
