Harold arrived at 'the great manor' when the whole place was busy with the early day's chores. He took confident strides, lost in his thoughts that he didn't notice the surprising gazes he received.
His werewolf hearing caught the light murmurs, and he knew that they were directed at him, but he had decided to ignore them a long time ago.
He paused at the end of the corridor when a familiar face appeared in front of him. He didn't realise then how a smile lit up his face without his knowledge.
His feet automatically led him to the person who was already walking in his way.
"Good mroning, Lady Eloise!" He greeted her as soon as he reached her.
"Good morning, Mr Davies! So you finally found some time to visit the manor."
He noticed how she raised her brow. Contrary to before, her eyes were not lined thickly with kohl. Instead, a thin line coated her eyes that made them look bigger and more natural.
