Life in the Rural

<p>We arrived at Kirinyaga which was our rural home, the news wasn't the best we've heard for all our friends were in Nairobi, the city that we used to live. Despite everything we had no choice for the Corona virus was now at its loftiest point and people were dieing in the city. This was my father's way of saving our lives as he would repeatedly say.<br/>At Kirinyaga, I had my house built away from my parents house for it was the norm in our culture, it was much better than my small room In the city. It was fully furnished and it had a 40 inch TV thanks to my father. Jasmine and Kevin would always come and watch movies in my house for I wasn't a TV fun, I preferred reading novels instead.<br/>There wasn't much for me to do in Kirinyaga for we already had workers who took care of the farm. Komen who later became a close friend of mine was the one who made sure the cattle were well fed. To kill the idleness, Komen helped me built a home made gym.</p>
