A spring in Elvanor

Life is full of surprises. Athanasia thought at one time. She never thought she would be able to achieve this happiness in her life. Sometimes she felt guilty about it if she really deserved this. She reminded herself of her goals.

A teacher who was kind and strict at the same time. Sophia who shared her burdens always supporting her. Isabella with her bubbly nature was able to fill their life with laughter. The residence of Elder Hughes was filled with voices of Athanasia chasing Isabella after she pulled another prank. Elijah in the end opened up to them. And share his wise judgment from time to time. Without them she would never be able to achieve this much. Elder Hughes compared Athanasia's present self with her past one. He felt proud of her growth. Though he never admitted to her face but he adored Athanasia. She also gave him a purpose in the last years of his life.

Whenever spring came after the cold winter, the forest became alive once again. Even monsters appreciated the beauty of it. But there was someone who felt devastated. The elves forest had a legend about a lake in the heart of the forest. It is said that its beauty is mesmerising enough to drawn anyone. During spring season anyone who went into it never came back to the surface. So elven people avoided that. During this time of year, elder forvade them to go to the forest alone. But something odd happened. Even the most ferocious of these monsters avoided going to the lake side. Since there was someone who occupied that place. And the aura of that person gave chill back to their spine.

A cold wind blew, the moon was shining brightly in the sky. Moon being reflected in the lake was mesmerising. But before Isabella could appreciate the beauty of nature and excitement about her first adventure, she saw a girl with bright blonde hair which shone in the moonlight, with her back to her. She never saw such a beauty in her life. Those jeweled blue eyes that emitted aura colder than ice. And a faint shallow smile on that carefully crafted face, it was nothing but an illusion. Though in daylight it gave her a warm feeling but right now she only felt chills down to her bones. She wanted to run away and forget about this scene but this level of killing intent only made her numb. She could not move an inch as if she did she would lose something precious, her life. The scene displayed in front of her was an unforgettable one.

The corpses of monsters that were five tier or above were scattered on the ground mercilessly. The smell of blood was ao thick in the air that she felt nauseated. Athanasia like a diety standing above looked down on earth. As she stood there it seemed like a Asura came out of hell. Isa Ella felt as if she were standing in front of a God ready for her decree. There were tears of fear in her eyes. She wanted to get out of there. But her body didn't listen to her. She regretted coming here. For the first time she missed her sister so much. She witnessed something she should not have seen. And how she is gonna pay for it nobody knew.

Athanasia de Augustus de Aurelius, the most sweet and caring person in her memories, was now emitting a terrible killing aura. Isabella wanted to call out to her master but voice would not come out. Tears of helplessness fall down on her doll like face. Athanasia came down of her throne and took small steps toward Isabella. But in reality she flew down. But in Isabella's eyes there was a grim reaper coming for her soul. She didn't want to die, not now. She prayed to Aurelius that she would become an obedient kid and will always listen to her sister. But please save her from this calamity.

Just as Athanasia came nearer to her, Isabella fainted on the spot.

Under the moonlight a beautiful little fairy was sleeping. The white gown was compliment to her light pink hair. It emitted a mysterious aura. A silent forest only with the sound of water running down the lake could be heard. Athanasia lifted the slepping beauty in her arms and took her to their residence. She put the kid in her bed. And went out before she could be noticed. She just reached the courtyard when a sword out of nowhere came to her neck. For a moment she was astonished by the attack but she fought back not knowing the reason.

Silver and golden hair were fluttering in the night sky. Not one was ready to back down. The sound of two swords clashing echoed throughout the courtyard. Athanasia could read the emotions hid behind those azure eyes. Resentment, restlessness and fear. She was too well acquainted with this guy. She didn't even need to use her bond to know what was inside the thick head of his. She knew that he was upset. But she felt wronged too. She didn't even put a scratch on bell and here this guy was ready to come for her neck. Despite knowing that it would never happen. No one knew except Athy knew about Elijah's feelings for bell.

A sudden gust of wind blew towards them. She avoided the attack swiftly. And that's how their small encounter came to end.

"If you guys have this kuch energy to play around why don't we send you to play for your heart content", said Elder Hugh.

Elijah stared at his master who thinks nobody knew about her trips to the lake. He was frustrated at his master and himself. It has been years but his master still could not overcome her trauma. And he felt helpless. By this time even Sophia also came out of her room and headed toward the commotion outside. There she saw all three of them as if there was s staring contest going on. Athanasia was staring at her teacher and Elijah was staring at his master. She coughed a little to get their attention.

"Be ready to depart tomorrow".

Elder said and went back.

Next day Isabella woke up and found that all three of them have long gone on their journey to South. She felt relived that's he would not have to face Athanasia but also sad too because she was the only one who was left out.
