Eternal Beauty

What's the point in living forever when you have no one to spend it with?

When she met him she thought he was naive at first.

Who wanted to live forever with no purpose? Not her, she wanted to live with the risk of death (not her Death). Where's the risk if you can't die?

Okay, she admits she was a little fucked up in the head but shes just stating her opinion.

So when she met Sasori she thought he was deluded. (To be honest, he was). She remembered the first words he said to her.

"Do you wish to be my puppet?" The impatient red-haired young man asked her. Was he expecting her to say yes?

"Why? I have no desire to be strung upon with no voice of my own." I said, looking at his narrowed greyish brown eyes paired with his mousy red hair. His facial expression had looked hazy and dreamy. He was also wearing dark green robes with a pale poncho around them that day. I will admit he looked rather handsome, but he was a bit too old for me.

His expression changed a bit into shock at the fact that someone rejected him or maybe because of my hotness. I'll be betting that it was the later one. I hope.

"Tch, brat. You should be honored to be asked to be my puppet. I am Akasuna No Sasori of Sunagakure. Why else do you need?" Was his question. I'd hate to see what would happen if someone said no to him when he asks them out.

"No means no. I don't have any desire to become a block of wood. I like being able to live and travel." I told him shrugging nonchalantly. He looked irritated and a bit insulted. I guess I have to break it down even more for him.

"I like my freedom. I like my emotions. I like the shades I see when I see life at its finest. I like my life. I don't want to be a puppet where my strings will constantly be pulled." I explained expecting this dense fucker to understand what I mean. Sheez, can he harass someone who's actually interested in his needle dick?

Sasori growled under his breathe and was about to walk away on the sand covered path before I called out to him.

"Hey! Want to have lunch with me? I need a guide and you look a bit hungry. Maybe you can tell me more about your village?"

...

I remember that day as clear as day. Sasori and I became close friends and pen pals. It was such a shame that he didn't take my advice and stay human. A shame indeed. His shade of my life was the color of his eyes, greyish brown. He taught me an important lesson: Being grateful for what you have. In this case, life.

Sometimes I wonder what would have happened if he didn't become a puppet himself and stayed in the village. Would he have been the Kazekage? Or would he be a nameless side character? Only Log-Sama would know.

On to more colorful manners. Yesterday, when I built the house I was surprised to see a skeleton underneath the house.

I'm no anthropologist but the skeletal structure wasn't human. I believe it was some type of animal that got caught in a natural disaster. Never the less I gave it a proper burial and named it Tojikome Raremashita. The Japanese word for trapped. You and me both buddy, you and me both.

The boys haven't gotten back from their little quest to learn what it takes to be a hero. I didn't participate because I didn't want to be one. Knowing Luck and Karma, my words will end up chomping on my fabulous ass faster than Itachi can eat his dango. (I saw it myself. No one should be able to eat dango as fast as he did).

I was planning on going out to look for them before I heard the door slam open with two frazzled and panicked teen males. Yup, they made a mistake that will cost us all. Time to pack up and go to the Bahamas. (She saw advertisements earlier that day too, along with a brochure).

So she already started pulling out a large scroll so that she could seal the house inside of it. (We all know she wanted to go to the Bahamas). Ah, islands here I come.

"SAIKIO! We have a big problem! Someone may or may not have spotted us while we were out! Please don't kill us! I have yet to touch the sidekick, Aqualad's ass!" Death cried out his face panicked and worried. What he was worried about? Like hell, if I'll know.

"The person who spotted us was most likely Batman!" Pineapple Head said, clearly worried about his life or the fact that he may not be able to make babies once I'm done with him.

Wait, did they say Batman? As in that cosplayer who dresses up as a bat and beats the shit out of criminals every night with his tight loving sidekick? That Batman?

"Oh, and how did this happen?" I asked, arching a perfect eyebrow and giving them the Angry Mom Look™. Yes, it was trademarked. When you have to deal with these idiots, it's important that you know how to make them piss their pants.

"Well, according to my calculations the troublesome heroes may have been able to locate our position with their troublesome technology. I believe they were able to track our chakra that may have been strange energy sources to them. Furthermore, -" I cut Pineapple off before he gives us a lecture on how the machines and energy sources work. He's so troublesome sometimes!

"Welp, time to move. So I was thinking about the Bahamas and then maybe Paris, France. It would also be nice to see the Pyram-" Death cut me off before I could make my vacation plan.

"Saikio, we can't run! This is our home was should stay and fight!" Death cried out. Raising his pale fist into the air before letting out a war cry. I sighed and pulled him by his pink shirt before he could start war painting his face the color of a rainbow.

"I can seal our home into a large scroll and we can leave just like that," I explained to them, really wanting to go to the Bahamas.

"Oh, in that case, let's roll out!" Death said already trying to walk out the front door. What happened to staying and fighting the Justice League?

It seemed Pineapple shared my thoughts because he said, "We're really leaving just like that? What a drag, what happened to staying and having a war with whoever tries to pick a fight with us?"

"Meh, I wanted to go see the world anyway. Come on let's go already!" Death replied back opening the door to let some sunlight in. Which I hissed at and ran to the dark corners of my home.

Pineapple faces us and gave us an exasperated look that almost seemed to spell the word "troublesome". (Same man, same)

I picked the large scroll back up again and began writing seals to seal our home up and continue on our way to the Bahamas.

The scroll itself was cream colored with a red and gold borderline. The parchment smelled of aged books which, to be honest, was my favorite smell.

Ah, to be young and flexible. The boys walked out of the house and waited for me to finish up. I did so excitedly because of the fact that we were leaving this abandoned area that didn't flatter our house.

Off to the Bahamas so that we can hide away from Batman and the Justice League!

...

To whoever is reading these bolded words that contain important bullshit, thank you! Sorry, I wasn't able to update I have exams and I have to get at least a B so that I can win a bet. I'll be a bit busy but I managed to do a short chapter that took me two hours. Yay! Don't forget to vote for who you want Death to be paired with.
